So tired of that stupid acephobe argument... but also, I noticed that these are the most common "categories" we joke about being in when being told that

I made a post about an aphobic person on the german subreddit r/wirklichgutefrage and this guy commented "What do you want with a partner who is asexual? That's like a racing driver without a car. No one needs that either."

Rejected for the first time because of my asexuality... (So I got a new piercing to feel better.)

I've never dated much, now I understand why after discovering my asexuality throughout last year. My psychiatrist thinks I should start dating (I'm 30), so I've been trying to meet people on Hinge. I've been talking to this guy for over a month when I tell him I'm asexual and also not interested in sex. I told him I'd likely be willing to let my allo partner seek sexual relationships outside of ours. He flat out rejected me and then said "glad we avoided that mess!" which is what really hurt. It was upsetting, not because I was really into this person but because I'm convinced this will happen and again. Aces in a relationship with allos, how is it going? When did you tell your partner about your sexuality? I need some encouragement!
