How come being aroace is never assumed or suggested to be if you show signs of not being into the opposite sex?

If you're a girl and not really into men, others will automatically assume you must be a lesbian, despite not really feeling anything towards woman either. Same applies to men who don't show being interested in woman and the same feeling goes to men. I don't think I've ever heard or seen someone suggest being aspec for lacking attraction to certain genders.

It really freaks me out when I remember that most people have sex.

Like... I canโ€™t see people as sexual creatures, especially my friends. I find it so hard to deal with when I remember that those people really have sex.

Hi guys, I'm not even ace but I just played this amazing game called " Disaster Log C" and the main character ( Mel) Is an asexual bisexual girl who falls in love with another girl and officially comes out during the game. This might not be a lot of representation, but it's still something.
