Kafkaesque: a thinking and writing genre developed in Frank Kafka’s name.
Generally, the term Kafkaesque tends to refer to the bureaucratic nature of the capitalistic judiciary in government systems. It encompasses the sort of complex, unclear processes in which no individual ever truly has a comprehensive grasp on what is going on, and the system doesn't really care. However, the quality of Kafkaesque also seems to extend much further than this; it is not necessarily exemplified merely by what these systems are, but rather by the reaction of the individuals subject to them and what it might represent.
