- ظلَّ:
• من الظِّل وهي العتمة التي تغشى المكان، أي؛ بقيَّ ظلّهُ أو صارَ ذا ظِلّ. ومنّها ظلَّلَ، يُظلِّل، تظليلاً، مُظلِّل
مثلاً: ظلَّ المكان، أو ظلَّ اليوم
• وقد تأتي بمعنى الدوام والاستمرار
مثلاً: ظلَّ على موقفِهِ، أي؛ بَقِي واستمرَ عليهِ

- ضلَّ:
وتأتي بعدة معاني، منها:
• الإنحراف عن الصحيح
فمثلاً: ضلّ الظالم، أي خرج عن إيمانهِ
• وفقد الوُجْهة أَو الاتّجاه
مثلاً: ضلّ فُلان طريقهُ، أي تَاهَ طريقهُ
