Here is one more music track for the Last Guy game 📢
Do NOT miss this. One of my favorite people talks about one of my favorite animated films. Fire and Ice is such a classic and Dave is the perfect one to talk about it.
The Last Guy game environments are coming together.
I love dice. This is my main set. I went for a balance of readability and coolness. What do you think? Show me your dice sets.
🇫🇮 Today on the sixth of December is the independency day of Suomi, Finland. Though i might not like the state this country is in today, I do love the people and this land. Hyvää itsenäisyyspäivää Suomi ja kiitos edesmenneille heidän uhrauksistaan! 🇫🇮

Recorded myself playing some fusion. I get super nervous while recording so it's a little sloppy. The sound is not that good either because I only had one track to work with. Anyway, I love playing fusion stuff like this atm, might record some other things in the future, tell me what you think!

I've had the privilege of working with some great folks around here and earning a bit of cash for about the last two years now. Nobody I have worked with thus far has had a problem with parting with their money to pay for me doing the best work I possibly can. In fact, everyone has been more than happy to do so, which is something I am hugely grateful for. It's taken me years to get to this point.

I maintain that artists shouldn't work for free. If you're an artist, your craft is the path you tread through life, it doesn't matter if you paint pictures, write books, make music, build houses etc. It's who you are, it's in your DNA and what you have dedicated most of your life towards - to better yourself and your skill.

All the beautiful creations we so often admire from the past were products of men in their working time, not their spare time. If you want to produce anything of value that does us and our ancestors justice, you have to dedicate your life to doing so, which means you can't give the majority of your week, every week, to working a job that you hate, and leaves you utterly unfulfilled and drained, just so you can postpone your own starvation. (Not knocking anyone who works their ass off to support their family). Because in the few tired and hectic hours you can muster, amidst the chaos of your own life and the world, it's very hard to give the attention and focus you need to better your skills and create something beautiful. In 2021 I worked up to 80 hours a week for almost the whole year on construction sites, being a beast of burden for corporate overlords, just to get by. I didn't draw a damn line and it was easily the worst year of my life.

I don't earn a living from this, and I do juggle other work and my art. One day I hope to do this all the time, however far off that is, which brings me back to my original point, in saying serious culture has to be financed. We don't have any big Renaissance bankers that I know of, but when creations and products come from our side of things (which are almost always self-funded) we need to support the people behind them, which means parting with a bit of hard earned cash. The folks round here put their hearts and souls into this stuff and there's amazing things round every corner.

Every time you support our folks, the ecosystem grows stronger and we are one step closer to achieving autonomy and reviving our own culture - the destruction of which, is constantly being lamented.

You can buy a based book penned by one of our guys for the same price as a Soy-Latte and a Seed-Oil infused Croissant in Gotham city, your choice!

Wires are like vines of the tech world. We use them in the Last Guy game to make spaces look abandoned and derelict.
I have been designing miniature armies for a war-game Dave Martel has in the works. It's called Red Void. These are some of the designs. Go check out some interesting lore videos Dave produced for the project here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLcwgW8yY_uUf5XjVNqymaIMJhVh_20Ve5
MORE TO COME. STAY TUNED.
