COVID-19 has tested us. Will we be ready for the next pandemic?π·π¦
Everyone at every age is susceptible to COVID, but not everyone is equally susceptible to serious illness. Older adults suffered a death rate about a thousandfold greater than children; at times, as many as 40 percent of COVID deaths in the U.S. occurred in nursing homes. Similarly, studies of booster dosing showed that those most likely to benefit included people over 75, people with multiple health problems, those who were immunocompromised, and those who were pregnant. For as long as this virus circulates, the primary focus should be on protecting these four groups.

The moment I see something that is blingy and bright, I need to have it. When my card is swiped and I finally have the beautiful coral top that I had been coveting a month, I feel instantly happy.

If we did ban extreme sports, not only would a ban be hard to regulate, as many of these activities take place in the middle of nowhere, but it would make these sports even more dangerous, as it would drive them underground.These sports would still continue, just illegally and likely without the right precautions, training, and limited equipment, which increases the risk of serious injury and death.
