🤔 Do Narcissists Know They’re Narcissists?
Many people assume the answer is no. Surprisingly, psychology suggests it’s often yes.
Research has found that when people are directly asked, “Are you a narcissist?”, many with strong narcissistic traits openly admit it. They simply don’t see narcissism as a problem—they may even view it as a sign of confidence, power, or superiority.
The real issue isn’t a lack of awareness. It’s a lack of motivation to change.
A narcissistic person may recognize that they seek attention, want admiration, or put themselves first, yet still believe they deserve special treatment. Accepting responsibility would threaten the self-image they’ve carefully built.
💡 Lesson:
Knowing your flaws doesn’t automatically lead to growth. Real change begins when you’re willing to question yourself, accept feedback, and value others as much as you value yourself.
Sometimes, self-awareness is only the first step—the harder part is choosing humility.

💔 “It’s not me, it’s you.”
Have you ever said that—or heard it from someone else?
When relationships become difficult, our first instinct is often to blame the other person. We focus on their flaws, their mistakes, and their behavior. But psychology suggests something interesting: sometimes what bothers us most in others reflects something unresolved within ourselves.
For example, people who constantly criticize others may struggle to accept their own imperfections. Excessive jealousy can sometimes stem from insecurity. And anger toward certain traits in others may reveal traits we dislike in ourselves.
So the next time someone frustrates you, ask yourself:
❓ “Is this really about them, or is it telling me something about myself?”
Growth doesn’t always begin when we change other people.
Sometimes it begins when we understand ourselves better. 🌱
