The ability to roll over in a fall is innate in cats and manifests itself as early as 3-4 weeks of age.

When a cat falls, it instantly begins to level its body with the ground. In this, their highly flexible spine, the absence of collarbones, and well-developed vestibular apparatus contributes to it.

Why does the cough get worse at night?

When a person lies in a horizontal position, mucus accumulates in the nasopharynx, the airways are not cleared. Why does a person not recognize his or her own voice on a recording?

A person's own voice normally reaches their hearing in two ways: through the air (like other people's voices and all external sounds in general) and through the tissues of the body, primarily the bones. Due to the various speed of sound in these media, the same initial sound acquires a different timbre.

In this case we hear a superposition of "air" and "bone" timbres of the voice. And when listening to a recording, we hear only the "airy" part of it.
