Tonight was Arsenal's ninth Premier League draw in a match they were leading in this season, two more than any other side.

It's the most by a team in a season since Tottenham in 2007-08 (also nine).

"It's part of football, and it cost us two points."

Mikel Arteta vents his frustration over Arsenal's performance in the title race
Ben White and Mikel Merino are doubts for the first leg of Arsenal’s Champions League semi-final with Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.

The pair both missed Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace on Wednesday and were left out of the squad entirely.

Arteta confirmed before the game at Emirates Stadium that Merino and White were not fit to feature after picking up issues in the wake of Sunday’s win at Ipswich.

“They couldn’t be involved - if not they would have been,” said Arteta. “Unfortunately, after the game [against Ipswich] we had some issues and they are not fit.”

Asked after the draw with Palace if the pair would be fit to face PSG next week, Arteta said: “We’ll have to wait and see, they weren’t able to be in the squad today.”

Arsenal want to keep Thomas Partey at the club beyond his existing contract and are in talks with the midfielder about a new deal.

The 31-year-old’s terms expire this summer and that would enable him to leave as a free agent.

It long appeared that Partey was set to exit, but a return to prominence in Mikel Arteta’s side has left the manager and club keen to extend his stay.

The Ghana international is happy at Arsenal and his family are enjoying living in London.

He would be open to an improved two-year agreement or a one-year deal plus an option to extend by a further 12 months.

Partey will also consider alternative option in case a deal cannot be struck for him to stay.

Having joined Arsenal from Atletico Madrid in 2020, Partey has played an important role in the club’s progress — despite a number of spells out through injury.

He will miss the first leg of their Champions League semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain next week but should return for the reverse fixture on May 7.

Arsenal 25-26 Home, Away & Third Kits Leaked:
Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are clashing over reduced away ticket allocations ahead of their Champions League semi-final first leg at Emirates Stadium. PSG received only 2,500 tickets—500 fewer than their 3,000-ticket quota during their October visit.

UEFA guidelines recommend 5% of stadium capacity (≈3,000 tickets), but Arsenal allocated just 4%, citing safety concerns linked to the London Marathon, held two days prior.

PSG criticized the move as unfair and lodged a formal complaint with UEFA, demanding the full 3,000 tickets. Arsenal defended the decision, referencing local authorities’ security advisories and logistical challenges post-marathon. PSG may pursue further appeals if UEFA doesn’t intervene before Tuesday’s match.

Despite the dispute, PSG fans received ticket-purchase instructions via email. The tension adds an off-field edge to the high-stakes tie, though both teams remain focused on on-pitch preparations.

Yaya Toure: “Arsenal has always been my dream. When I was on trial, I was able to share a dressing room with one of my idols, Patrick Vieira, all the team was there. When I was going to Highbury, I’ll never forget I said, ‘I have to come to this club!’”
