I often see the question: βBut What is a Canadian π¨π¦?
Of course, it's mainly about where we come from.
But I'll go further. it's also what happens when we meet another Canadian.
The energy that passes.
It's in the face.
In the subtle expressions.
In the eyes. The way we look at each other.
The way we smile. The way we greet each other.
The way we talk to each other, with all the nuances of language.
These things can't be learned by foreigners. They're in us, and they were in our parents and their ancestors.
We all feel these things every day, every time we meet another Canadian.
So the next time you meet one of your own. Be aware of these beautiful subtleties.
They make us feel good and confident. Because we know that we'll understand each other.

After nearly a month on the road observing the state of the country and talking to thousands of people, the situation is very obviously very bad for Canadians.
There is, however, genuine widespread interest and energy to do 'something'. This restless energy and frustration normally culminate in little more than impotent protest actions that have no effect, while the crushing tides we face every day continue to erode our home.
Everyone wants to protest the eye watering amount of problems or embrace some sort of 'anti (insert problem)' spirit.
This is a misguided approach.
This energy and spirit to fight must instead be corraled and harnessed to build organizations that explicitly serve our interests without apology.
Life is a team sport.
Our enemies are using organized efforts to target us collectively. If we dont rise to the occasion and compete in the same manner, we will be run over as individuals or small groups in the face of a much larger, cohesive, and organized force.
We no longer have any mens clubs, businesses, fraternal organizations, etc, that officially practice ingroup preference like our enemies do.
The numbers are there. The energy is there. It exists.
Our ancestors accomplished much more with much less. It is foolish to sleep on our potential.

Dionysus is popularly called the God of Wine, however this powerful deity is so much more than that:
Dionysus presides over mysteries of birth, life, death, and resurrection.
He is the spirit of intoxication, shamanism, magic, joy, hallucinations, madness, and sexual healing.
The floats, masks, clowns, dancing, public drunkenness, and erotic theater that characterize modern Carnivals and parades are descendents of Dionysian rituals.
Dionysus typically manifests in the form of a man, lion, bull, or goat.
He is the horned Green Man, crowned with snakes, sometimes described as androgynous.
6 January, now celebrated as the Feast of Epiphany, is the day celebrated by Eastern Christians as the anniversary of Jesusβ baptism in the Jordan River but was once known as the Theodosia (the βGift of Godβ), the day the water in the sacred spring of Dionysusβ temple in Andros, Greece, tasted like wine.
It's a lot more fitting when you find out who and what Dionysus represents.
