When attempting to ascend, one of the most important steps is severing one's mental ties to their parents.

We all establish a mental connection with those who are responsible for teaching us when we first arrive here. Some of us obviously have a better or worse experience with this than others.

Regardless, one has a mental thread tying you to those closest around you where you kind of carry your parents around with you as a voice of doubt in your head saying "Are you really sure you want to abandon the old ways?" Depending on how negative an experience you've had with your parents, this voice can be incredibly oppressive and essentially add "noise" to your internal signal.

To ascend, you must sever the threads and allow those closest to you to live outside of your head, otherwise the old way of thinking about the world will always be superimposed on top of any new structures you try to build in your mind.

You must tear down the old systems in your mind that have been handed to you and answer the question "What do I think is actually going on around here if I forget everything I've been told to believe?"

Nobody else can answer this question for you.

Forget history, forget religion, forget mythology, and approach the divine mentally naked. Let it tell you what kind of person it is and how you should be mentally framing its plans for both your life and the world directly with no middleman.

Also; very important; the people around you will absolutely start getting verbally catty and hostile towards you, at least temporarily, as you are ascending, especially if you tell them about your ascension as it's happening, but it will happen regardless of whether you tell them. They will unconsciously sense that you are gaining in spiritual rank on them and try to drag you back down to their level.

Push past all the fear of what other people will think of you and you'll discover who you were truly meant to be before the world downloaded all of its bullshit into your brain.

Something that needs to be said about Jesus:

Jesus was teaching people life advice at a time when disrespecting either your parents or government officials could literally get you killed.

Jesus told those people not to do certain things because they lived in a brutal nightmare hellscape that was trying to kill them and he wanted to make sure they didn't waste their martyrdom or imprisonment on something less important than the gospel.

You live in the modern world in 2025 and, if you're in what remains of my audience, you most likely live in America.

Not only do you have the right to tell tiresome people to fuck off, your ancestors fought for generations to provide you that right.

If you are still going through the motions of how Jesus taught people to protect themselves from bullies 2,000 years ago without questioning whether any of it is still a good idea, you belong to a cargo cult of personality.

Do you have any idea how fucked up it is for a traumatized person to go to a church and have somebody who has never even had a real job because they went to a seminary instead of a real college tell you that you have to honor your abusers?
