In 2017, Grape-kun, a Humboldt penguin living at Japan’s Tobu Zoo, got popular after forming a special bond with a cardboard cutout of an anime character.
The cutout featured Hululu from the series Kemono Friends and was placed inside his enclosure as part of a promotion. After being left by his longtime penguin partner Midori, Grape-kun found comfort in the company of the cardboard Hululu, often seen gazing at her for hours.
Sadly, Grape-kun passed away in 2017.
In his memory, the zoo created a touching tribute, featuring a new cutout honoring the unique bond that had touched so many around the world.

The Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages (UESP) is older than Google since it began in 1995 as a simple Daggerfall FAQ and evolved into a massive fan-maintained wiki with over 110,000 articles covering everything from lore to gameplay across the Elder Scrolls series.
Founded by Dave Humphrey, who now manages its technical backend, UESP transitioned to a wiki format in 2005 to allow community contributions. Editors like RobinHood70 and Dillonn241 have since helped shape the site, using bots to bulk-upload game data and refining content daily.

In 2005, Helios Flight 522 took off normally. But midway through the flight, everyone on board lost consciousness due to hypoxia following a pressurization maintenance procedure issue.
The plane continued flying on autopilot for hours. Fighter jets were scrambled and saw the chilling sight: a ghost plane with no one awake inside.
It eventually ran out of fuel and crashed, leaving no survivors. To this day, it’s known as the “Ghost Plane.”
