There is a fully funded PhD position available in my research lab for a very exciting project. The project is about soft robot modeling and control using machine learning. This is completely a mechatronics project and entails experiments as well. Students are expected to have a strong background in robotics and control, and programming, and should show evidence of past publications. Background on soft robotics and machine learning is not a requirement, although it would be plus.
Applicants should have strong background in robotics, control, programming and mathematics. Interested applicants should send their CV, transcripts, and a list of three of their references to “mohammad.biglarbegian@carleton.ca”
