【美國紐約市長阿當斯宣誓就任 強調應對疫情及打擊罪案】
美國新任紐約市長阿當斯，宣誓就任。61歲的阿當斯成為紐約市第110任市長，亦是紐約市歷來第2位非裔市長。
紐約市的新冠疫情嚴重，近日每日新增超過數萬宗確診，令阿當斯的就職典禮改在時報廣場緊接跨年倒數後舉行。

【美國科羅拉多山火3人失蹤 官員料或已死亡】
美國中部科羅拉多州發生山火，3人失蹤，當地官員估計，他們已經死亡。
山火蔓延多個城鎮，博爾德縣至少一千間房屋及企業被摧毀，數萬人被迫撤離。
博爾德縣警方表示，當地有3人失蹤，相信他們不太可能生還。
博爾德縣附近的積雪已經超過25厘米，阻礙尋找失蹤者的工作，當局將出動搜索犬協助搜尋，又調查山火原因。
