The fact is that France has banned Apple from slowing down its devices in the country. If you change the region, for example, on iPhone 6s or iPhone 7 to France, the changes will be very noticeable. This hack sometimes works on older iPads as well.

How to do it:

1️⃣ Open the settings, go to «General» and select «Language & region».
2️⃣ Select «France» and click on «Change to France».
