Assange prison wedding gets green light, could happen in December
Julian Assange has been given permission to wed Stella Moris, the mother of his two children fathered while holed up in the Ecuadorian embassy, and could tie the knot within weeks - but only within Belmarsh Prison itself.
The WikiLeaks founder had been pursuing legal action against the prison governor and Justice Secretary Dominic Raab for apparently blocking their nuptials.
Assange is currently awaiting the senior judges’ decision whether or not to overturn January’s ruling to block his extradition to the US,
