About the authors:

The authors have produced two works that are prequels to the vision advanced in this essay: the 2014 nonfiction book, "The Prometheus Connection," and the 2021 novel, "The Prometheus Frontier." Kevin Osborne holds a PhD in Philosophy from the City University of New York, and serves as the principal author and the lead member of the Philosophy Team. Alex Bleier, with degrees in Math, Philosophy, and Technical Communication has an extensive career in computer consulting, spanning the gamut from Fortune 500 companies to Silicon Valley startups and now to the newly formed Thomas Paine Institute, as Executive Director.

I often hear arguments against my plan to create a new country, that such thing is impossible without bloodshed. But the historical example of the Velvet Revolution and the Velvet Divorce of Chechia and Slovakia is an example that it's possible.

Anthemism (or going anthem) is the abandonment of reforming statist countries and instead aiming to found a new sovereign state whose political system is laissez-faire capitalism consistent with Objectivism.

In the old definiton instead of "statist countries" it said "existing states".
