Is DeFi really “new” or is it just workaround to avoid legal / compliance issues. If there was open season most of DeFi would just be recreated tradfi with less barrier to entry

Tradfi collects value in the long run because most people simply stick to one avenue and don’t change up. DeFi needs newness because nobody stays in anything for more than a month

crypto is very good at being a sandbox

so while i keep bear posting about the current state of crypto alts i am actually very bullish long term on crypto the industry

but a lot has to change

and valuations need to get washed down a lot more

ironically i think the quality of development improves in crypto the less money there is.

why try to long an alt when you can long btc with leverage, the btc d chart is pretty clear, the only directional bet on alts is short

a degenerate answer would be Strategy, but that needs a risk on environment not a risk off one
