generally speaking for tradfi products if you can trade on ibkr do it. don’t use defi

there’s a niche use case for those of us who cannot off-ramp our size yet, but if you can just do it in tradfi always

i say this despite having shilled ostium and hl in the past.
i will continue to say it even if hl or ostium eventually adds more tradfi products.

always prefer using trad if you can.

it is simply never worth the risk

Size + margin requirements in tradfi are not made for most retail investors, esp in countries where broker options are limited to CFD providers that have unpredictable liquidity and can close up your trades for whatever risk management purpose

Also this is the POV of someone who doesn’t mind KYC and lives in a stable jurisdiction.

On-chain tradfi derivatives should find PMF for those who are more wary of the state they live in and their privacy

For now mechanisms are clunky with faulty oracles and lack of liquidity
