С 2009 на iPhone и iPod Touch появилась функция «Отправить на YouTube», позволявшая пользователям напрямую загружать видео на видеохостинг из приложения Фото. Такая интеграция резко (на 1700%!) увеличила количество загружаемых видео на платформу в первой половине того же года.
В результате мы до сих пор имеем доступ к большому архиву, целому пласту случайных видеороликов с названиями вида “IMG_XXXX”, часто загруженных совершенно случайно — они легко ищутся на YouTube подставлением рандомных циферок.
Своеобразное окно в жизнь незнакомых людей, показывающее аутентичные моменты, недоступные в обычных социальных сетях.
