Some info about me

I’m 25 y.o. At this period of my life my job is taking care of my baby daughter, called Sasha.

I live in a city of Tula, it’s not so far from Moscow (actually 183,6 km).

My real job is a teacher of English. Right now, as you may understand, I don’t go to work, but I still have some individual English lessons with my students on a regular basis.

Now it’s your turn. Tell me, please, who you are, where you are from and give any other information that you want to share with me.🤍

🔥Hot September 🔥

This year autumn is not typical for our region. Almost +30 degrees Celsius - that’s something strange.

I can’t imagine, how some of you go to work or school these days.

But, on the other hand, it seems that summer isn’t over, at least for a couple of weeks.

Personally, I don’t like such a heat, I get tired of it very quickly. It’s OK, when you have a place to swim, relax and do nothing. But when you need to simply live your everyday life … it’s a disaster for me.

I prefer when it’s a little bit colder, like +15…+20.

What about you? What’s your favourite type of weather? What do you like more? Please, answer in the poll below.👇

Hi there!🌸

I’m sure everyone likes ice cream.🍦 But have you ever thought about how and when people invented it?

Actually, it was earlier than you may suspect. Ice cream, probably, was created by Chinese people around 2000 years ago.

But they didn’t have refrigerators, then how did they keep it cold?

The answer is the SNOW. ❄️

The only problem was that snow was not everywhere, only in mountains, and it was seasonal. That’s why, ice cream was the delicacy and only rich people could afford it.🫰

We’ve got used to the fact that ice cream is a dessert, it should be sweet. But what about ice cream with chilli, sausage or bacon ice cream or cheese ice cream?

I’m not mad, you can try ice cream with these flavours in some ice cream cafés around the world. There’s even black ice cream with charcoal in it and ice cream with oysters.

Is it delicious? I don’t know, maybe some of you has already tried? Please, share your experience.💖👇

☕️TEA TIME☕️

You know, Russian like to drink tea. But English people also adore it. And recently I thought about the differences of Russian and English tea lovers.

For both countries, drinking tea is a cultural aspect. Russians drink tea at the and of every meal, usually with a dessert. On the other hand, English people can drink over a 100 cups a day. It’s like a habit.

Moreover, Russians like the tea to be brewed, some of them use a special thing called samovar. But English people don’t care about the quality of tea, they may use tea bags.

Despite the differences, there’s one thing that unites these two tea approaches. When you’re tired after work or you have a guest, tea is the best way to relax and calm down.

DRAW or PAINT - that’s the question

My daughter has started to “study” painting, that’s why I thought: “why not to explain the difference between draw and paint to my subscribers”.

You know, these two words have one equivalent in Russian - рисовать. But in English their meanings are not the same.

If you draw, you use a pen or pencil to create a picture with some lines or shadows. Your painting can be back and white or colourful.

But if you paint, you usually use paints, or markers, or chalk in order to create a colourful picture.

The photos above illustrate the examples of these two actions.

Now the question to you: can you draw/pain? If YES, share some photos of your paintings with us in the commentaries below😊

Under the SEA 🌊

When I was a child, for sure, I watched a lot of cartoons. I had some favourites. For example, Winx Club, W.I.T.C.H, the Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, all cartoons about Barbie… this list is endless. 😱

But the best cartoon for me was the Little Mermaid 🧜‍♀️. I could watch it for hours. I knew all the songs, all the names of characters (and still remember them 😄).

And even today I like to rewatch this cool cartoon with my sister. Soon, I hope, my daughter will join us.❤️

Here is a link to the most famous song from this cartoon, I’m sure you know it🙃

🔴Did you have your favourite cartoons? Do you still watch them?

I look forward to your answers👇

This is my baby girl 🤱

Every day she’s getting older and older. Sasha’s only 1.2 years old, but sometimes she seems to be so clever.

And at the same moment she lies down on the floor and starts crying because her mummy doesn’t let her go outside without a jacket and pants. 💘

Hello, the first year developmental crisis. 🙃

The weather today is awful. Windy, cloudy and rainy.😣

When you have a child, it matters.
Especially, if your child is a toddler, who needs active games every day. 🎮

But we try to find interesting places to play from time to time.

Here we’re in a kids zone in one the Tula’s restaurants.🥳

When Sasha was in my tummy, I thought that my child would be bilingual (the person who knows two or more languages and uses them in everyday life).

Now I realise how naive was I.😂🥲

As you can see, mostly I speak Russian with my daughter and it’s so cute when I see that she understands me.😍

For sure, we listen to some English songs, play games in English (once a month😅). What’s more, I have lessons with my students and Sasha can hear my English.

Not bad.

English is not a difficult language to learn, that’s why I’m sure we’ll start studying it when Sasha’s 2 or 3 years old.

But now I want you to look at our nice try of learning English.🙃 She knows this song and can clap and stump her feet when she hears the words.

Nice, isn’t it?😇

🔴Today we celebrate the Teacher’s Day.

This festival affects not only the teachers themselves, but everyone who once visited the kindergarten, school, university or any other place, where you can be taught something.

Who is a teacher? We may give lots of meanings to this profession.

But for me a teacher is a coach, who can give you some interesting and useful information about everything.

A teacher is a friend, who can support you at difficult times and give a piece of advice, if necessary.

A teacher is the person, who can make you develop yourself and push you to the right direction.

I am a teacher and I’m proud of it.

Happy Teacher's Day!🌸🌼🌻

In this photo you can see my sister, who’s 11 y.o. and my daughter, who’s 1.2 y.o.

My sister has started learning English when she was about 6 y.o. At that time I only entered the University and didn’t practice tutoring. That’s why Nastya was a «Guinea pig» in my teaching career. Now we have English lessons every week and use one of the best books for learning English - Go Getter.😍

My daughter now can listen to some songs in English and watch English cartoons. And I think that’s enough for her age.🙃.

It seems to me that Sasha’s experiencing the “autumn blues”. It’s cold and cloudy outside and she needs to wear so many clothes.🥲
