Melbourne Furry Convention 2023 has been done and dusted, however we will still have our regular fur meets along the Yarra River.
Lee/Rave is currently unwell at the moment so I’ll host this meet (Changy/Reggie).
We'll be hosting at our usual spot, same place along Alexandra Avenue. It'll be on the Sunday, hope to see you all there!
There are no pre-requisites to being part of the furry fandom. You do not need a fursuit to attend, we’d love to have anyone interested in the Furry Fandom attend. If you're skittish about coming, (try) let the admins know. We'll always do our best to ensure you are comfortable and enjoying yourself. We understand social events can be daunting, our events normally don't have any scheduled activities to minimise pressure.
We’ll be cooking up a storm so drop a gold coin donation and dig in like you’re at Bunnings. 100% of your donation will go back into funding the BBQ and excess is collected to fund future events. We normally have regular ol’ meat sausages, white bread and hash browns.
We’ll be providing bottles of water, and there is also a drinking fountain/tap just next to our usual spot so let's do our best to look after the environment. There are plenty of areas to sit and take in the Melbourne weather. It is Autumn Melbourne weather so make sure to bring a windcheater or hoodie to stay warm.
We strive to make sure our space is welcoming to all attendees as this is a family-friendly and Child Safe event. All the hosts have their appropriate Working with Children’s Check. People of all ages normally attend; as the community grows, newcomers will also include minors. So be mindful of how you conduct yourself and interact amongst other attendees.
We've recently had complaints regarding questionable gear. This meet is an all-ages furry meet, not a pup-play meet so please do not bring harnesses or leashes as these are inappropriate.
Terms of Entry to our event include:
• If you are under 16, please be accompanied by a Parent, Guardian or friend that is over 18.
• Please keep it PG-13 and do not discuss adult / explicit topics conversations.
• If you are bringing any possessions, please be responsible about your belongings. Please refrain from bringing more than what a person would reasonably carry. We are not responsible if you lose something that you bought along.
• There are bins opposite to us, let’s keep the environment clean.
• This is a shared public space, we’re beside a footpath as well as a bike path. Please do not block the paths, we have been warned by Park Rangers about this. If we get fined because of this and you were responsible, we will forward you the invoice via telegram.

Hey folks,
There are no pre-requisites to being part of the furry fandom.
We'd love to have anyone interested in the Furry Fandom attend. If you're skittish about coming, (try) let the admins know. We'll always do our best to ensure you are comfortable and enjoying yourself. We understand social events can be daunting, our events normally don't have any scheduled activities to minimise pressure.
We strive to make sure our space is welcoming to all attendees as this is a family-friendly and Child Safe event. All the hosts have their appropriate Working with Children’s Check. People of all ages normally attend; as the community grows, newcomers will also include minors. So be mindful of how you conduct yourself amongst other attendees. This meet is an all-ages furry meet, not a pup-play meet so please do not bring harnesses or leashes as these are inappropriate. If you believe something is questionable then we ask that you leave them at home.
Terms of Entry to our event include:
• If you are under 16, please be accompanied by a Parent, Guardian or friend that is over 18.
• Please keep it PG-13 and do not discuss adult / explicit topics conversations.
• If you are bringing any possessions, please be responsible about your belongings. Please refrain from bringing more than what a person would reasonably carry. We are not responsible if you lose something that you bought along.
You can bring these items to make your time more comfortable:
• Snacks for yourself or to share.
• A windcheater or coat so you can stay warm.
• Something to do.
If you have any questions or concerns, we can speak in private in person, over PM with the MFE page or with one of the admins in the telegram group.

It’s been a while, hasn’t it? While we know we’ve been rather quiet these last few months, the team have been working hard behind the scenes to get this con on track and ready for you all.
With that in mind…We’re proud to announce:
MFC 2024 - Cyberchase will be hosted at Novotel Melbourne Preston over the weekend of 23/02/2024 - 25/02/2024!
This is exciting news! We haven’t stopped jumping for joy since securing the location.
HOWEVER! We ask that you don’t go booking a room for yourselves just yet. Tickets will be launching within the coming weeks, and we will have details for you for when you register regarding the hotel, including discounts exclusive to MFC attendees!.
Currently, the form for the Dealer’s Den is open! If you’re interested, Click here to be taken to our application form!
We will also be opening registration for MFC 2024 sometime in August, so keep your eyes peeled! 👀
