Hey Folks,
MFC2025 is finally over! Best we kickstart our furmeet once again to beat the PCD (post-con depression) or FOMO if you weren't able to snag a ticket.

There are no pre-requisites to being a furry we'd love to have anyone interested in the Furry Fandom attend. If you're skittish about coming, (try) let the admins know. We'll always do our best to make you comfortable. We understand social events can be daunting, our events normally don't have any scheduled activities to minimise.

We strive to make sure our space is welcoming to all attendees as this is a family-friendly and Child-Safe event with all hosts having their appropriate WWCC. People of all ages normally attend; as the community grows, newcomers will also include minors. So be mindful of how you conduct yourself amongst other attendees. This meet is an all-ages furry meet, not a pup-play meet so please do not bring harnesses or leashes as these are inappropriate. If you believe something is questionable then we ask that you leave them at home.

Terms of Entry to our event include:
• If you are under 16, please be accompanied by a Parent, Guardian or friend that is over 18.
• Please keep it PG-13 and do not discuss adult / explicit topics conversations.
• If you are bringing any possessions, please be responsible about your belongings. Please refrain from bringing more than what a person would reasonably carry. We are not responsible if you lose something that you bought along.

You can bring these items to make your time more comfortable:
• Sunsmart items; sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses
• Snacks for yourself or to share.
• Something to do.

As usual there will be a BBQ with both vego and meat options, and you'll have the pleasure of seeing all of your friends you haven't caught up with since our last MFE meet. Please let one of the hosts know if you require Halal meat options so they can be arranged separately. We take group photos at midday as well.

Please be aware of the current weather changes during the colder/wetter months. If we get moderate to heavy rain forecast then we will move to a back-up location at the Melbourne Central Level2 Food court

MFC 2025 photography launch
Good afternoon Melbourne’s premiere furry community!

This is Reggie or Changy here from Photography. I am happy to say four of our photographers have produced their photos to an impeccable quality and I am so proud of the team.

We still have a some other photographers to submit their work, however I thought that it was better to provide something rather than wait awhile for everyone else.

Please note that photography is an art form that requires a lot of post processing, and because of this, photographers need some time to hone their work and make the most out of their art, we are all volunteers juggling the reality of full time work and family, so please be patient whilst the others get their work in.

I am pleased to advise that these ones have been uploaded and are done for your viewing, if you are using their photos for socials, please credit them accordingly.

I will personally update you all as we go along regarding the photos from the other photographers, I have everyone’s RAW files, so everyone is accounted for.

On another note, I have stepped down from Head of Photography for Melbourne Furry Con, I have really enjoyed my time leading the team and I look forward to seeing what @augustinphotobirb can do for this amazing team. I’m not leaving, you can’t get rid of me so easily, 😛 . I am stepping into an advisory role in the photography department and will still be around.

You’ll most likely see me behind the scenes working on the administrative side of the convention as the Secretary.

I have enjoyed serving the furry fandom in Melbourne and will continue to do so, please come to our MFE meets and enjoy a bbq sausage! ❤️
