A rather curious case occurred in the city of Ivano-Frankivsk. We learned about it from a local court register.
A man running around the city with a baseball bat inscribed with the words "Amulet against evil spirits" prevented a group of TCC body snatchers from bussing people away. Threatening them with his "amulet", he was able to rescue four people from getting kidnapped by chasing the TCC minubus in his car and threatening the TCC mob-squad.
The man received a suspended sentence of one year, which isn't so bad. The baseball bat was unfortunately ordered to be destroyed.

A group of four men resisted the TCC and managed to escape. Two TCC officers and one policeman were hospitalized with injuries. The condition of one of them, who received two stab wounds, is critical.
