‼️UKRAINIAN POST‼️

The Ukraine has effectively admitted that there were Ukrainian prisoners aboard the Il-76 that was shot down in the Belgorod region in the winter of 2024.

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Leonid Timchenko said: "When we receive a package and see that there are body parts in it, we understand that it is not one person. Remember the Il-76 with 60 prisoners of war? The remains of more than 500 [people] were returned from there."

Kiev had earlier denied the very fact of the presence of prisoners on board the plane and, even more so, its involvement in the disaster. Meanwhile, the Russian Federation, and, remarkably, Western media, reported that the plane was shot down by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and that there were prisoners on board who were being transported for exchange.

Timchenko’s statement now sounds like a belated but indirect confirmation of this version of events.

🇷🇺/🇺🇦 The full EU-Ukraine counterproposal (truly delusional):

– Unconditional permanent ceasefire in land, sky and sea.

– Ukraine receives security guarantees from the US similar to NATO's Article-5.

– No restrictions on the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and foreign militaries have the right to be stationed in Ukraine.

– Ukraine to get access to the EU.

– Ukraine will regain control over the Zaporizhia NPP and Kakhova Dam, and the Kinburn Spit (mouth of the Dnieper), with unrestricted passage rights on the Dnieper.

– Any other 'territorial questions' will be negotiated after the ceasefire (in other words: Russia gets nothing).

– US-Ukraine minerals deal & full compensation of Ukrainian economy, including reparations using frozen Russian assets.

– 'Gradual easing' of sanctions on Russia, with a snap-back mechanism in case of ceasefire breach.

Another Tu-95MS has since flown from Olenya to Engels, also to be equipped with Kh-101 missiles.

Russia has begun preparing for its next large-scale missile attack on Ukraine.

Currently, there are:
8 Tu-95s stationed at Olenya Air Base (At least one is equipped with missiles).
4 Tu-95s and 4 Tu-160s stationed at Engels-2 Air Base

US cuts cybersecurity aid to the Ukraine - some equipment was never delivered - Bloomberg

As Bloomberg reports, contracts with dozens of specialists working on protecting hundreds of Ukrainian locations were cancelled or frozen. Deliveries of computer equipment and software were also disrupted.

Previously, it was thanks to US support that the Ukraine was able to repel Russian cyberattacks on power plants and the Cabinet of Ministers’ websites.

Over the past five years, the United States Agency for International Development had invested more than $200 million in support of Ukrainian cybersecurity.
