As stated in the publication, the country is experiencing an investment crisis, leading to the closure of some of its oldest factories and enterprises.
"Its days as an industrial superpower may be coming to an end. The volume of industrial production in Europe's largest economy has been declining since 2017, and this decline is accelerating as competitiveness wanes," the article says.
In short, "the foundations of Germany's industrial machine have collapsed like dominoes," concludes Bloomberg.
