Just to sum up upcoming pixel8pro features:
- Wide 1' GN2
- UW IMX787
- Tele GM5

Each lens has an ability to switch to full resolution mode - gcam already supports maxres added in cam2 api in sdk31. Library shows corresponding ids as well. Wide and tele lenses also have remosaic ids - there is new algos for that, however I'm not sure what exactly that supposed to be.

Staggered HDR mode, at least for main lens, however sadly works only as global on/off switch (would be better if gcam had better integration with deeper control over it)

New Walnut & Pecan ML denoisers. Pecan seem to be new global denoiser that replaced PSNR coefficient based one introduced after 8.1, while Walnut is for face beautification.

ML algos seem to be integrated with Xtensa dsp (gxp) made by cadence, however current pixel iteration has gxp, 8.9/9.0 gcams are first to have any calls with direct name for it, with java code showing it replaces logic previously held by qualcomms Hexagon dsp.

Sabre has no shader changes, however it has new quad bayer detection - as of now I can say that spatial_rgb mode doesn't get set if qb is detected. In library merge_method_1 (normal sabre) has new derivative call to process for qb if it is detected (again, I'm not sure at this point what it is).

Previous threadpool code replaced with core frequency control/boosting for at least final jpeg rendering and some motionphoto mode processing.

Macro mode internally called taxi with quite a deep integration.

8K video seem to be a thing.
