Jews tried falsely to links the heritage of Jesus to King David. It is They who wanted an Earthly king and ruler. Of course this couldn't be done because King David is mythological so was King Solomon.
The Romans mocked him with a crown of thorns calling him the king of the Jews.
Christ did not come to earth to be a political ruler. He came to be a savior and offer a path to salvation and not for Jews but for all people and with the Father not with Yahweh.
He rebelled against the benefactor class and the pharisees peddling their wares in the temples. Jesus offered a direct relationship to God not this Jewish or Catholic preistly class.
The only mentions of king of kings in the new Testament is in Revolations it's a throw back Daniel's interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar's dream who he also called the king of kings and predicted a kingdom of iron. The figure in Rev that many assume is Jesus with a sword that shoots out of his mouth an Iron septar and command over flesh eating birds is said to have king of kings on his thigh. The meaning of this is there will be no more kings because it's the end of the world. He's fighting 3 giant monsters and killing their followers. You cannot take that book literally.
The other is Timothy 6 where the lord of lords is God and that's God in God form not human form. He specifically states "who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen."
You might say exodus 33:11 says
"The Lord spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend"
Isnt that a contradiction? No. Because Moses spoke to Yahweh a lesser and evil deity who praises obedience and ignorance.
He did not and could not speak to the one most high and unseen.
Calling Christ king instead of savior or Jesus is to fall into Judeo trickery.
Yahweh isn't God. Yahweh is a water demon. He's a storm god from the Sumarian pantheon of El. He creates the flood. In Revolations what does he do? Revelation 12:15
It's a water spitting dragon the Leviathan.
