California proposes removing children from non-recognizing LGBT parents

Lawmakers in California are considering a law that would allow children to be separated from their families without informing their parents.

Under AB 655, the bill would allow children over the age of 12 to move into public accommodations if they are not supported by their parents in trying to choose a new gender or sexual orientation.
