A senior White House official told NBC that a 45‑day ceasefire proposal is also being considered, but Trump has not yet given the green light.

The idea behind a time‑limited ceasefire:

Iran cannot afford an open‑ended ceasefire after being surprised and attacked twice within a year.

And the United States cannot grant a permanent ceasefire without commitments on the nuclear and missile issues.

Hence the proposal for a temporary ceasefire, modeled after Gaza 2023–2025.

The IDF announced that in the past 24 hours it had struck dozens of planes and helicopters at three airports across Tehran.

The names of the four people who were killed and recovered from the rubble of the building that collapsed yesterday in Haifa, following a direct missile strike, have been cleared for publication.

The victims are the couple Vladimir and Lena Gershevich, around 80 years old, their son Dmitry Gershevich, 40, and his partner Lucille-Jean, 30, a citizen of the Philippines.
