I remember reading this story at 14, 2 years ago. And I do remember tearing up even long after I was done writing the reflection. It is indeed great.

Along with the story itself, I'm sending my 2 year old reflection of it. Most of my classmates back then saw the story from Ken's perspectives, while I delved into how his mother saw the world. Hence, my culminating paragraph is mostly about his mother.

—Obv I neither want or can share, but generally it was my research and golden embroidery (my family craft)
—I love girls. I don't have a gf at this point (I am NOT looking for either)
—I LOVE SCIENCE! And I have done a lot in this sphere given limited resources. I believe AOs could see my passion and potential in making this world a better place through STEM!
—IELTS: 8.5 (took in 2024 August) / SAT 1520 (took in June 2024) / 5s on AP phy 1, phy C:mech, calc BC (May 2025) and GPA is 4.89 (i got 4s in uzbek and geography)
—Again, I won't be sharing anything like that, but I know it a billion percent that my caltech essays are FABULOUS (I had sooo much fun writing them)
—English, Uzbek, Bukharian and Russian
—YES! (only in the amount I am allowed to share)
—Caltech is legit THE BEST engineering school on the planet (even better than MIT because well its in california and really student oriented). There is no school which is a better fit to me than Caltech.
—I want to study applied physics and material science for bachelor's and I had plans for theoretical maths as well
—MINECRAAAAAAAAAFT! Then comes Sally Face, Mouthwashing and life is strange!
—I study in Public School No.1 named after Lenin in Bukhara
—Absolutely NOT! I believe newly admitted students are pathetically weak in teaching admissions. NO way someone who just entered a school should teach others for money. HOWEVER, I will be offering AP/SAT courses and maybe even research. Feel free to join those courses rather than some fake admissions.
