๐ฎ๐ท๐ช๐บ๐บ๐ฆ The EU has set 27 conditions for the new Hungarian Prime Minister to unfreeze โฌ35 billion in subsidies, โ FT
- The main requirements are the unblocking of a โฌ90 billion loan to Ukraine and the lifting of the veto on a package of sanctions against Moscow.
- The European Commission also expects rapid negotiations with Hungary on a dispute over migration legislation, for which Hungary is already paying a fine of โฌ1 million per day.

"I think Trump was posting a joke, and, of course, he took it down because he recognized that a lot of people weren't understanding his humor in that case. I think Trump likes to mix it up on social media, and I actually think that is one of the good things about this president is that he's not filtered. He doesn't send everything through a communications professional."
Wait, so it wasn't that he thought he was being portrayed as a "doctor," it's that it was a "joke." Look, I don't think I need to explain anything here, I have faith (pun intended) that you all get it, regardless of your own worldviews.

The US has exhausted its entire stockpile of the latest high-precision ballistic missiles, PrSM, since the start of military operations against Iran, according to the American magazine Aviation Week.
"We used up all our PRSM arsenal at the beginning of the war, but we're already receiving new ones," said Jimmy Arter, head of the Transformation Department at the US Army's Center of Excellence for Fire Support.
The PrSM missiles were first used by the US in combat conditions during the operation against Iran a month ago.
This type of weaponry was developed to replace the outdated ATACMS systems and boasts increased range and accuracy.
Zin Note:
Currently, the USA produces maybe 55 PrSM missiles per year, and they will most likely struggle to increase that number. The USA is also facing a shortage of Tomahawks, PAC-3s, THAAD interceptors, SM-3s, and SM-6s. They are setting targets to triple or quadruple the current production levels of all of these systems within the next couple of years. Considering that there is basically a depletion of everything, meeting these targets is impossible. The most critical bottleneck exists in production of Solid Rocket Motors (SRMs), which is a problem that cannot be solved by throwing money at the problem. They need to hire hundreds of thousands of new workers who will require advanced security clearances, a process that can take months to years. These are highly paid, highly sought after employees that the government and contractors are struggling to offer adequate compensation for. On top of that, finding people with clean backgrounds is proving to be difficult.

The Chinese-owned oil tanker RHN, which is subject to US sanctions, is passing through the Strait of Hormuz despite the so-called US blockade.
Despite U.S. claims of a total halt, ship-tracking data has shown several tankers successfully transiting the strait. In addition to the RHN, another sanctioned Chinese-owned tanker, the Rich Starry (carrying 250,000 barrels of methanol), made it through on April 14.
Some analysts suggest the blockade may be "intermittent" rather than constant. Furthermore, reports indicate that some vessels are navigating through a corridor designated by Iran under a "vetting regime" that may involve paying tolls to the Islamic Republic.

Notable Vessels That Passed the Blockade
Rich Starry (Medium-range Tanker): Verified as the first U.S.-sanctioned vessel to successfully exit the Gulf after the blockade began, carrying approximately 250,000 barrels of methanol.
Elpis: A sanctioned tanker that transited outbound on April 13. While it later "went dark" (turned off its transponder) in the Gulf of Oman, it is assessed as a successful blockade breach.
Agios Fanourios I: A Malta-flagged VLCC (Very Large Crude Carrier) became the first crude carrier to head west toward Basra, Iraqโa destination not under U.S. blockadeโafter waiting two days in the Gulf of Oman.
Peace Gulf: A Panama-flagged tanker not currently sanctioned, which transited into the Gulf of Oman on Tuesday.

Of course, the US doesn't support certain countries in the Middle East (or any other region) because they care at all about freedom or democracy. These are purely transactional relationships, and not one care is given to the regimes' behavior or political systems. They just work with anyone who plays ball with the Zionist agenda, and don't care about anything else.

I came across this article and decided to look into this.
The bill proposed is actually fairly narrow, limiting euthanasia to infants with severe deformities, pain, etc.
However, Canada has a history of extending euthanasia to large groups of people with relatively minor conditions. Canada's adult euthanasia rate is now so high, the procedure is responsible for 1 in 20 deaths in the country, and one can legally request euthanasia for things like being poor and having diabetes. In 23% of cases, "loneliness" was cited as a factor in the decision to request "MAID" or "Medical Assistance In Dying."
Some patients have been offered MAID for things like back pain or because they couldn't find appropriate housing to accommodate their chemical sensitivities.
Even compared to other countries that offer euthanasia, they perform a shocking rate of these procedures.

The US plan failed: the new leadership of Iran turned out to be even tougher than the previous one, writes The Wall Street Journal.
The publication believes that the war that Trump started to overthrow the regime in Tehran led to the exact opposite result. Instead of "more reasonable" leaders, "militarists and supporters of an apocalyptic cult" came to power.
"The war changed the regime - and not for the better. We created a reality that is worse than the one the Iranians faced before the war," said the former head of the Iranian department of Israeli military intelligence, Citrinovich.
Zin Note:
This is exactly why I said earlier that the "opposition" to Trump is not better. They still push the same canards:
"The Iranian regime was bad, now it's worse, they are crazy religious nuts, and won't somebody think of the opposition!"
Again, they don't actually disagree with Trump. The merely disagree with HOW he acts. And both sides push the same Israeli narrative.

Fortune:
Following the 2003 Iraq war, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) projected the U.S. had spent $500 billion in direct costs on the conflict, but economics and policy experts Joseph Stiglitz and Linda Bilmes begged to differ. In a 2006 study, they calculated the war was in fact four times as expensive as what the CBO had calculated, costing U.S. taxpayers more than $2 trillion in their moderate estimate. In 2013, Bilmes revised the costs and concluded about $4 trillion to $6 trillion was spent on both the Afghanistan and Iraq wars.
The Pentagon told Congress the first week of the [Iran] war reportedly cost about $11.3 billion alone. If that rate of spending continued, the cost of the war would have exceeded $35 billion by April 1, according to think tank American Enterprise Institute. AEI economists suggested that the first month of war cost each American household $260โwhich seems small, but there are over 150 million taxpaying households in the United States. Currently, Bilmes estimates the U.S. is spending about $2 billion per day on the war.
The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), a Washington, D.C., think tank, estimated projected spending was $11.3 billion by the sixth day of the war on munitions alone, $1.4 billion on combat loss and infrastructure damage, and $26.5 million on operations, totaling about $16.5 billion by day 12. But this number increases when considering the cost to replace munitions, which could range from 50% to nearly double the initial cost, Bilmes said. And as a result of tariffs and supply-chain disruptions exacerbated by the Russia-Ukraine war, some U.S. munitions makers have warned the price to produce ammo has increased 8% to 14% since 2024.
Additional spending will depend on damage to key infrastructure in the Gulf, and with the U.S. operating 19 military sites in the region, some have already sustained damage, which CSIS assessed to cost $800 billion within the first two weeks of the war.
