For all of the criticism of the Trump administration in the Western press, there is also a raging undercurrent of Western chauvinism. There is no powerful voice in the West that opposes or contradicts Western exceptionalist philosophies. Even when they deride Trumpian Imperialism for its obvious shortcomings, you’ll notice that it is still considered outside of the mainstream to actually defend the Iranian government or call out Western hypocrisy on the charge that Iran “funds proxy groups” or to point out that the biggest threat to the Middle East and its people has always been the USA and Europe.

Sure, we can point to the centuries of colonialism, but even in recent decades, the USA, with tacit, and sometimes not so subtle, support from Europe, the USA operates as the cartels in Mexico, offering a “silver or lead” deal to extract resources while enriching and empowering Israel. A simple count of deaths in the region caused by US-Israeli violence and those purported to be caused by Iran reveals enough. Where the Israeli command of this entire process ends and where American Imperialism begins, I’ll leave for another post. Suffice to say, there really is no “anti-war’ coalition in the Western-Israeli intelligentsia, although you may be forgiven for being fooled into thinking this (let’s just say you may be forgiven, but only God forgives…).

In most of the articles that I read criticizing the Trump administration. The tone is that “this is not the right time, this is not the right way, and the way that it is being done is fraught with incompetence on display.” Nobody calls into question the legitimacy of Israel’s manipulations or Western-Israeli moral superiority.

I just think it is important to keep this in mind when analyze the conversations and politics we see taking place within Western countries and the media-sphere.

❗️🇺🇸/🇵🇰/🇮🇷 NEW: An Iranian journalist reports, that despite the U.S. reassuring Iran yesterday, it has still failed to comply with implementing a ceasefire in Lebanon and unlocking frozen funds

If these preconditions aren’t met before the end of the day, the Iranian delegation may decide not to meet with the Americans at all.

The US is aware that Ukrainian intelligence agencies are trying to interfere in both American and Hungarian elections, according to JD Vance. Meanwhile, Ukrainian media speculate how quickly the army could take Hungary if Orbán wins, even dreaming about going…
Hungary faces a choice between Viktor Orbán and Péter Magyar, but the real issue is sovereignty. Magyar's campaign threatens agricultural independence and economic autonomy.

At its core is István Kapitány, a former Shell executive tied to multinational energy interests. During the Ukraine war, Shell made record profits while Europeans faced rising costs. Kapitány now supports cutting Russian energy imports, pushing Hungary toward expensive global markets that benefit corporations.

This endangers agriculture, which depends on affordable energy. Higher costs would hit small farms hardest, leading to closures and foreign land acquisition. Magyar also has documented ties to Ukraine's intelligence apparatus, raising concerns about foreign influence over Hungary's policies. Orbán represents national control and protection of farmers; Magyar signals corporate influence and dependence.

The series of articles I've shared on the topic (read previous ones for context) about upcoming elections in Hungary.

Trump speaks (and writes) like a complete moron. If he thinks something is true, "everybody" knows it. If he didn't know something, "nobody" could have known.

It goes without saying, but "we" do not own any oil or gas. Rich investors from a number of different countries own this oil and gas. If you are reading this, you don't own any of it. You will not benefit from a single oil or gas sale.

🔴 Western sources: Iran-US talks held directly in Islamabad

The negotiations between the delegations of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America, with the presence of the Pakistani host, were held directly in Islamabad.

I guess he really thought that this whole thing could be handled over lunch?

It's getting harder and harder for me to believe the "insider reports" that Vance was a war skeptic and the lone voice in the Trump administration supposedly pushing back.

I get the feeling that maybe he believes getting up and walking out of negotiations makes him look like a badass, but it just makes him look like he is crap at diplomacy.

Today is the big day for Hungary as they hold their parliamentary elections. I'm certainly no expert on Hungarian politics, but these Western-chauvinist, Europhilic parties are all the same. "Our stodgy, old leadership is archaic and dumb, doesn't understand the new ways, and we need more Iphones and butt-sex and then we will get rich like the Western Europeans (whose economies are all stagnant or in decline). Our future is in being corporate whores, and the only way to solve our problems is to hand over sovereignty to a large, incompetent bureaucracy."

Last night, two supertankers attempted to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, but abruptly turned around after news of the breakdown in negotiations between the US and Iran emerged.

Bloomberg reports this, citing ship tracking data. According to them, the vessels in question are the "Agios Fanourios I", heading to Iraq, and the "Shalamar", bound for the UAE.

The change in course of the two tankers coincided with the news that the US and Iran failed to reach an agreement.

Now things are about to really get interesting. Even though the Strait was closed about 6 weeks ago, a large amount of oil that passed through before the war was still moving towards its destinations. We are talking about very large, very slow moving tankers, so the oil continued to flow on thos maritime conveyor belt. However, the oil on this belt has basically reached the end of the line, and from here on out, it is empty. Even if the Strait were opened tomorrow, it would take 6 weeks for oil to reach its destination in many cases.

Negotiations about negotiations

Oh well, seems like the US came to Islamabad in bad faith to "demand" things, rather than honestly negotiate. I know, shocking...

At the end of the day, the few days of "negotiations" put Iran in a worse position than it was before. More military assets have been moved to the Middle East, reorganization and consolidation of assets was allowed. In other words, Iran fell for it again. And if you want to say "Iran knew," then why did they entertain it? And sure, they probably used the time too, but Iran's strongest weapon was the quick chaos they've created. Some of that momentum is now gone. Will they regain it? We will see.

I have no doubts that China and Russia pushed Iran to negotiate and if I only could ask one question in all of it is why. Why do China and Russia consistently do things that are against their own interests? Does that not strike you as odd?

We will know eventually.

Tucker:

All American presidents since 1963 have done, substantially, what Israel wanted them to do."

"The problem is not simply Trump."

Tucker then goes on to ask what the mechanism of control is.

I think there are several factors, in order of relevance:

-The influence of Jewish money in politics, the media, and business

-Christian evangelicalism, which literally believes in creating Greater Israel to usher in the end times

-The belief that supporting Israel relieves Republicans from accusations of racism

-The view that Israelis are "actually white like us" unlike those dirty, brown Arabs (co-opted racialist politics; this is actually a view I hear from boomers)

The sad fact is, a good portion of Jewish power in the USA is derived from the stupidity and ignorance of non-jews. Of course, much of that has been instilled over time and by design.

I'll save you from the bulk of Trump's latest bowel movement from the most ironically named "Truth Social." Basically, Trump has announced that he is responding to Iran's decision not to bend over to the USA in negotiations by blockading the Strait of Hormuz.

He also mentions that "noone who pays an illegal toll will have safe passage on the high seas," and that these vessels will be interdicted in international waters. So, I guess we will now be attacking commercial vessels from a number of countries.

The UK says it will not take part in US blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. Trump claimed earlier today that "the UK will send warships to help, and probably other countries will too."
