Despite media claiming the negotiations atmosphere is positive, the opposite is true. The US has brought a list of concessions and told Iran it will resort to "other options" if it does not comply:
- Iran must entirely dismantle (i.e. destroy) its facilities at Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan.
- All enriched uranium must be transferred to the United States.
- The deal should be "permanent" and Iran will not be allowed to have any enrichment at all, except at the Tehran Research Reactor.
In exchange for all this, the US is offering a promise of "no war" and limited sanctions relief.
