East Calling
An American media outlet asked the US ambassador to the Israel, Mike Huckabee, about the so-called Biblical Land Promise, "from the Nile to the Euphrates," questioning whether this means that modern-day Israel truly has the right to claim the entire region.โฆ
Have you heard of my friend Zinderneuf and East Calling?
His early work was a little too "New Wave" for my taste. But then the channel came out in 2024, I think he really came into his own, commercially and artistically.
Whole channel has a clear, crisp tone and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that gives the content a big boost!
Check it out! @EastCalling

Trump appears poised to abandon "mass deportations"
President Trump, just one year into his first [not sure why IL says "first term"] term, is already pivoting away from his unfulfilled campaign pledge to conduct "mass deportations."
Trump says he is adjusting his mass deportations policy to only go into cities if the mayors or governors "ask" and "say please," adding, "I don't want to go and force ourselves into a city, even if their numbers are terrible."
He realized this would actually be exactly what Obama wants and so he won't do it anymore. But don't worry, he'll get Obama in some other way. Because Obama is bad. Obama cockblocked his tariffs. Obama.

By the end of 2025, economic growth in the US had sharply slowed down, and inflation had accelerated, writes Politico, citing reports from the US Department of Commerce.
According to their data, in the fourth quarter, US GDP growth slowed to 1.4%,
while inflation in December amounted to 3% in annual terms.
According to the publication, this is a consequence of unusually long shutdowns and a decrease in consumer spending.
"The double blow of the published economic data put an end to a series of positive reports on employment and inflation, which Trump and senior White House officials cited as evidence of the success of their program. This will create problems for Trump, whose approval and popularity ratings have fallen to record lows - by 23 percentage points," writes Politico, which is considered a publication close to the US Democratic Party.
Trump himself blamed the Democrats for the problems, who did not vote for the budget (which led to the shutdown), as well as Fed Chairman Powell, who refused to lower interest rates.
"The Democratic strike cost the US at least two percentage points of GDP. No strikes! And also - a reduction in interest rates. Powell, who was two days late, is the worst," wrote Trump.
It should be noted that in previous quarters, the US economy was growing rapidly. If in the first quarter there was a decline of 0.5% (due to an acceleration in imports, which were rushed to be imported before Trump's new tariffs), then in the second quarter GDP grew by 3.8% in annual terms, and in the third quarter the pace accelerated to 4.4%, which was the highest figure in recent years.
However, taking into account the decline in the first quarter and the slowdown in growth in the last quarter, by the end of 2025, US GDP grew by 2.2%, which is lower than in 2024, when it was 2.8%.

This has been a bad week for Trump...
I think the war in Iran is a certainty.

Los Angeles Times:
As the Supreme Court struck down President Trumpโs biggest tariffs, the justices left a $133-billion question unanswered: Whatโs going to happen to the money the government has already collected in import taxes now declared unlawful?
...
Consumers hoping for a refund are unlikely to be compensated for the higher prices they paid when companies passed along the cost of the tariffs; thatโs more likely to go to the companies themselves.
...
Most countries still face steep tariffs from the U.S. on specific sectors, and Trump intends to replace the IEEPA levies using other options. The refunds that do get issued will take time to roll out โ 12 to 18 months, TD Securities estimates.
...
Ryan Majerus, a partner at King & Spalding and a former U.S. trade official, said itโs hard to know how the government will deal with the massive demand for refunds. It might try to streamline the process, perhaps setting up a special website where importers can claim their refunds.
But Adetutu warns that โthe government is well-positioned to make this as difficult as possible for importers. I can see a world where they push as much responsibility as possible onto the importerโโ โ maybe forcing them to go to court to seek the refunds.
...
โWe may see years of ongoing litigation in multiple jurisdictions."
โ โ โ
So, basically, $133 billion just disappeared into a purgatory where nobody is sure it will eventually end up. The only thing we know for sure is that the damage is done, it cannot be undone, and the consumer will not be made whole no matter what happens.

India urges citizens to leave Iran citing growing security concerns amid a possible US strike
India's foreign ministry has advised its nationals in Iran to leave the country using any available transport, including commercial flights, citing growing security concerns amid fears of a possible US strike on Tehran. The ministry estimates roughly 10,000 Indian citizens are currently in Iran.
The warning follows US President Donald Trump's statement that he is considering a limited strike if Iran does not meet certain demands. Iran responded Monday, saying any US attack, even limited, would be considered an act of aggression and would trigger a strong response.
Can you please tell your citizens to leave the US as well? And Canada. Very dangerous places, both.

"Westerners" are also by far the most propagandized people "of all time." It's not even close. People often have visceral reactions to even the slightest suggestions that China maybe isn't as bad as they're told. Remember "Westerners" calling that video of North Koreans enjoying a day in a water park "fake" because they can't fathom North Korea having water parks?
Americans especially are forever stuck in that two party illusion, I've spoken about it many times on the channel. I must give it to the CIA, their propaganda is highly effective.
I still harbor hope that it's not because we are uniquely dumb, but rather because we are being uniquely brainwashed on a daily basis, starting right from elementary school, if not earlier.

Trump, I think, just hopes that this show of American force will intimidate the Ayatollahs. If I were still his advisor, Iโd be happy to tell him that isnโt going to work.
Theyโre not going to be intimidated. But Trump really thinks minute to minute; he doesnโt think strategically.

China supplies Iran with radar, surveillance tech to track US stealth aircraft
China's Ministry of State Security (MSS) has provided Iran with new technology in an effort to prevent infiltration by US and Israeli intelligence, and to help Tehran defend itself from advanced US and Israeli warplanes in the case of a renewed war, according to a 10 February report by Modern Diplomacy.
The report states that Beijing is urging its ally, Tehran, to abandon US and Israeli made software and replace it with closed, encrypted Chinese systems that are difficult to penetrate...
I don't know who "Modern Diplomacy" is or how reliable they are. IF this is true, I hope this help continues. As Brian Berletic often says, the price for these wars of aggression needs to be raised drastically. It needs to cost so much that it would no longer be worth doing. I've shilled for China and Russia to provide Iran with help for a long time. Finally, it's happening. Keep going CHYYYNA!

What if today's Iran is resigned to a long, hellish war with the US?
Tehran learned from the June attack and its comparative advantage now is to drag Washington into a protracted regional conflict.
Trump's decision in June 2025 to bomb Iran's nuclear facilities in the final days of Israel's war on Iran removed any lingering doubts about his administration's willingness to cross the longstanding US red line of directly attacking Iran's nuclear program.
As a result, every subsequent American military threat, against Iran as well as the rest of the world, was imbued with a credibility that only the precedent of naked aggression can impose. The US military's abduction of Venezuelan President Nicolรกs Maduro in January only reinforced that credibility...
