> Giving security guarantees to Qatar right after U.S. refueling tankers land at Al-Udeid Airbase intended to be used against Iran.

Yeah, they aren't worried about Israel striking again, they want a pre-manufactured excuse to attack Iran if it strikes Al-Udeid base.

Yemen's Ansarallah declares war on US oil giants

Yemen's Ansarallah announced on Tuesday they would impose sanctions on US oil giants including ExxonMobil and Chevron. The Sanaa based Humanitarian Operations Coordination Center (HOCC), created last year to coordinate between the Yemeni Armed Forces and commercial shipping operators, said it sanctioned 13 US companies, nine executives, and two vessels.

The sanctions are a response to US measures taken against Ansarallah earlier this year, despite a truce agreement with the Trump administration under which the group pledged to halt attacks on US connected vessels in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, HOCC added.

"The Republic of Yemen will never tolerate any action that affects its sovereignty, security and stability, and will exercise its legitimate right to apply the principle of reciprocity."

Hamas unlikely to accept Trump's Gaza peace plan - "serves Israel's interests"

While Hamas has not issued an official statement, a senior Hamas official told the BBC that it's not likely to agree to disarmament, which is a condition of Trump's plan. It also rejects the deployment of an International Stabilization Force (ISF) in Gaza, believing it to be an occupation.

Another hang up Hamas has is the requirement in the plan to release all hostages at once, which gives away the group's bargaining chip. The terror group also distrusts Israel, having little reason to believe it will not resume military operations once the hostages are secured.

Why would the "terror group" accept it? It's basically capitulation to a collection of pathological liars and giving them ground they haven't managed to gain through military operations. The only thing surprising, is that Lebanon did agree to something like this. Well, maybe not THAT surprising, all things considered.

"The West demanded that we get involved in war with Russia"

In an interview, Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili talks about how external interference has poisoned his country's chances for EU ascension.

...In the years after the Georgian Dream government was elected in 2012, relations with the EU were excellent. The previous United National Movement government of President Mikheil Saakashvili (now in jail for alleged misappropriation of state money), though it had carried out radical economic reforms (backed by copious Western aid), had become increasingly brutal and authoritarian, and had been criticized for this by human rights organizations...

A very good article. If there's anything I'd love to tell people from such countries, it's that there's nothing worth pursuing in the EU or in the "West." Not anymore, anyway. And certainly not for that price. The EU's Regional Development fund is hardly worth it if your country gets destroyed by war.

โžก๏ธThere is a real risk of a nuclear accident at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant due to a prolonged power outage.

โžก๏ธIf the backup generators completely fail, a direct threat of nuclear fuel meltdown could arise, leading to a large-scale accident.

โžก๏ธAt present, critical systems, including reactor cooling, are being powered by these generators.

โžก๏ธExperts assess the situation as unstable and extremely dangerous.

It's time for the US to recognize Palestine

The growing international momentum toward recognizing Palestine as an independent state represents a long overdue acknowledgment of geopolitical realities that Washington has stubbornly refused to accept. As more nations move beyond the tired mantras of "peace process" diplomacy, it's time for US policymakers to abandon their counterproductive approach and embrace pragmatic statecraft.

For decades, American foreign policy in the Middle East has been hostage to domestic political considerations rather than strategic interests. The reflexive opposition to Palestinian statehood recognition serves neither American nor Israeli long term interests, and certainly does nothing to advance regional stability...

"It's time" for many things. If only our politicians weren't AIPAC bought and Israel trained monkeys who do and say whatever they're told by their "donors." We literally congratulated Israel for bravery after they killed our sailors, ffs.

โ€” Solid Iranian source confirms to me Russia has been airlifting large quantities of 'stuff' to Iran, but won't comment on what it is.

I asked him if it's fighter jets (Su-35, Su-30 or MiG-29) and he said 'You think I'm gonna answer that?'

Anyways, take this info as you wish.

โ€” ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ท/๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ NOTE: There is a 'rumor' (with at least some credibility) that Russia has been sending some of its very own MiG-29s to Iran as part of a temporary lease contract to make up for the delayed delivery of the Su-35s

Recently a member of Iran's parliamentary committee on foreign relations revealed that Iran had received MiG-29 fighter jets from Russia as a 'short term solution'.

Additionally, a video shows a MiG-29 patrolling the skies of Tehran some days ago, with lack of a clear smoke trail pointing towards its engine being a modern variant (i.e. recently acquired from Russia).

Russia's modern MiG-29s are quite capable. They're not on par with the majority of the Israeli Air Force, but they're a significant step up from Iran's F-14 Tomcats, F-4 Phantoms and older generation MiGs.

Power, pressure, and partnership: Iran's next nuclear chapter with Russia

Signed just days before UN sanctions snapped back into place, the $25 billion Russia Iran nuclear deal signals a defiant alignment against western pressure, with small modular reactors at the heart of Tehran's long term energy ambitions.

Just days before the return of UN sanctions on Iran, Russia hosted a major nuclear deal with Iran. Following an initial agreement between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in January 2025, the two sides signed a $25 billion memorandum of understanding (MoU) to build four small scale nuclear power plants in Sirik, in the southern Hormozgan Province. Rosatom chief Alexei Likhachev and Iranian Vice President and nuclear chief Mohammad Eslami finalized the deal on 24 September...

Nuclear power plants, military cargo planes going back and forth. Russia and Iran are giving me hope. Not a lot of it, but it's better than nought.

Turkiye freezes assets linked to Iranian nuclear program

The move coincided with new US sanctions on Iran, and signals Ankara's alignment with the west's pressure policy against the Islamic Republic.

The Turkish government has frozen the assets of several entities and individuals linked to the Iranian nuclear program, under a decree signed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. In total, 18 entities and 20 individuals tied to Iran's nuclear program were frozen. The targets include the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), Bank Sepah and Bank Sepah International, Isfahan Nuclear Fuel Research and Production Center, Karaj Nuclear Research Center, and multiple energy, shipping, and research companies...

Ah yes, it's that famous Turkic treachery. Another weird "North Atlantic" treaty member that is nowhere near the "Atlantic" that does strange things that are against its own interests for those dolla dolla bills.

Could bioweapons be center of gravity for US Russia talks?

The two sides appear interested in compartmentalizing diplomacy outside the war in Ukraine.

The deep freeze in US Russia relations shows occasional, promising cracks. It happened recently not on the primary issue of conflict - the war on Ukraine - but on a matter of mutual survival. During the United Nations General Assembly President Donald Trump announced an initiative to address one of arms control's most intractable problems: verifying compliance with the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC).

"...appear to be interested in compartmentalizing diplomacy outside the war in Ukraine." Are you for real? Just imagine Stalin talking diplomacy to Hitler that is "outside WW2" while his soldiers were dying fighting Germany, going on trips to Bavaria where Nazis would welcome him with a red carpet and a nice smile. Come on... What is even going on anymore.

Hans, is this whole thing fake and gay?

Prof. Gilbert Doctorow : Are Russians Losing Patience?

Watch on YouTube here.

NOTE: "Turning the other cheek" only works when you're dealing with humans. It doesn't apply to swine. I don't talk to "Russia's elites," but I can go to Russian Telegram channels and read the comments. And by "Russian" I don't mean the English pro-Russian channels, which are mainly fan clubs (no offence), but actual Russian channels. People are pissed off. Like, very. I would be too. The amount of comments that say something like "why are we doing this" is astonishing. When Russia stopped bombing Ukraine before the Alaska meeting, the comments were pretty hilarious to read. People were genuinely dumbfounded by the decision, especially since Ukraine kept doing what they do best - kill Russian civilians.

It's ironic and a bit sad that the man "westerners" and Ukrainians have been told to hate with every bone in their body is the only thing keeping Russia from annihilating them.

Bibi will sabotage Trump's Gaza plan

President Donald Trump sounded jubilant on Monday when he announced a plan to end the war in Gaza. "This is a big, big day, a beautiful day, potentially one of the greatest days ever in civilization," Trump said before describing the proposal.

The 20 point peace plan calls for the release of hostages and prisoners, the disarmament of Hamas, the uninhibited delivery of aid into the Strip...

Another article that is good in theory, but works off a false premise, making it irrelevant. You can only "sabotage" a plan if some form of "opposition" is present. There is none. Stop trying to convince me that Trump wants to make peace with someone. Please! I won't bite. Also, can we stop calling this pig "Bibi"? It's weirdly endearing, all things considered. Let's call him Netanyahu. Or better yet, Mileikowsky, just so there's no confusion about what he is. Also also, "...one of the greatest days ever in civilization." Just piss off dude, really.
