California Democrat Representative Eric Swalwell told CNN News Central co-host Kate Bolduan on Monday that House Democrats plan to scrutinize private citizens working with the Trump administration, following the indictment of former FBI Director James Comey.
"Well, first, we're making it clear that we're going into the majority a year from now," Swalwell said. "We have every intention to do that, and so we will bring oversight, accountability, we will subpoena the Department of Justice, but also private actors who have done these drug deals with the administration, college campuses, entertainment companies, law firms and so accountability is coming..."

Israel invests millions to "game" ChatGPT into replicating pro Israel content for Gen Z audiences
The Israeli government has hired a company to help it "train ChatGPT" to be more "pro Israel," Responsible Statecraft reported on 30 September, citing a contract with US conservative linked firm Clock Tower X LLC.
Israel is getting its fingers on social media, game companies, AI algorithms... All while our president pushes for more federal oversight and control to "fight terrorism." All the laws are vaguely worded on purpose. I would think we learned a lesson from Britain, but apparently not. All of this enjoys popular support and has cheerleaders shilling for it. The Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act will follow the Patriot Act, which was already expanded by Biden's reauthorization of Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.

I think the Commander in Chief just briefed his Generals for war.

President trump has sign an executive order extending robust security guarantees to Qatar.
This is basically article 5 of NATO but with Qatar.
“The United States shall regard any armed attack on the territory, sovereignty, or critical infrastructure of the State of Qatar as a threat to the peace and security of the United States. In the event of such an attack, the United States shall take all lawful and appropriate measures — including diplomatic, economic, and, if necessary, military — to defend the interests of the United States and of the State of Qatar.”

Yemen's Ansarallah declares war on US oil giants
Yemen's Ansarallah announced on Tuesday they would impose sanctions on US oil giants including ExxonMobil and Chevron. The Sanaa based Humanitarian Operations Coordination Center (HOCC), created last year to coordinate between the Yemeni Armed Forces and commercial shipping operators, said it sanctioned 13 US companies, nine executives, and two vessels.
The sanctions are a response to US measures taken against Ansarallah earlier this year, despite a truce agreement with the Trump administration under which the group pledged to halt attacks on US connected vessels in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, HOCC added.
"The Republic of Yemen will never tolerate any action that affects its sovereignty, security and stability, and will exercise its legitimate right to apply the principle of reciprocity."

Hamas unlikely to accept Trump's Gaza peace plan - "serves Israel's interests"
While Hamas has not issued an official statement, a senior Hamas official told the BBC that it's not likely to agree to disarmament, which is a condition of Trump's plan. It also rejects the deployment of an International Stabilization Force (ISF) in Gaza, believing it to be an occupation.
Another hang up Hamas has is the requirement in the plan to release all hostages at once, which gives away the group's bargaining chip. The terror group also distrusts Israel, having little reason to believe it will not resume military operations once the hostages are secured.
Why would the "terror group" accept it? It's basically capitulation to a collection of pathological liars and giving them ground they haven't managed to gain through military operations. The only thing surprising, is that Lebanon did agree to something like this. Well, maybe not THAT surprising, all things considered.

The previous United National Movement government of President Mikheil Saakashvili (now in jail for alleged misappropriation of state money), though it had carried out radical economic reforms (backed by copious Western aid), had become increasingly brutal and authoritarian, and had been criticized for this by human rights organizations...
A very good article. If there's anything I'd love to tell people from such countries, it's that there's nothing worth pursuing in the EU or in the "West." Not anymore, anyway. And certainly not for that price. The EU's Regional Development fund is hardly worth it if your country gets destroyed by war.
