Former US President opened up on his “personal stake” in the Russia-Ukraine crisis, telling Irish media that he regrets getting Kiev to give up its nuclear arsenal under the Budapest Memorandum.

The deal came together in 1994, when Clinton, Russian President Yeltsin, and Ukraine’s Kravchuk signed a tripartite agreement to eliminate nuclear warheads left in Ukraine following the USSR collapse.

US opposes NATO membership ‘roadmap’ for Ukraine

Washington is pushing back on efforts by some European nations to give Ukraine a “roadmap” for joining – instead urging partners to focus on providing short-term aid to Kiev.

US is siding with Germany and Hungary, resisting efforts from Poland and the Baltic states to offer Ukraine deeper ties with NATO.

Divisions became quite apparent at a meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Brussels, where groundwork is being laid for the NATO summit in July in Vilnius, Lithuania.

The depreciation of the dollar is needed to compensate for US economy remaining weak, a burden on the global economy.

China will be the engine pushing the global economy forward. The US will be a brake, which is dragged along by the gradual decline in the value of the dollar. It's a slow decline, a controlled decline. An adjustment that needs to be made.
