This article is a must read.

The AP are openly admitting that the MSM are getting outworked by random people online who have amassed substantial influence, and how this is a significant threat to democracy πŸ˜‚

Another pathetic effort to deter the masses from citizen journalists.

Democrat division intensifies as ex-Speaker Pelosi joins call for Biden to stop arming Israel

A divide among Democrats over whether to halt defense aid to Israel is growing more fierce, causing a crisis and headache for Biden strategists ahead of the presidential election, which has only intensified in the wake of last week's Israel Defense Forces (IDF) attack on the World Central Kitchen convoy in Gaza, which left seven international workers dead, including an American.

They all realise their entire voter base strongly supports Palestine. Trying to save their own politician skins is always the priority for these people, never principles. It isn't often I would agree with Pelosi. It just so happens that her political goals coincide with my stances. This time...

Kiev "hostage’" to US politics - Zelensky

The Ukrainian president rebuked American lawmakers who are dragging their feet on providing more funds to the country.

"Unfortunately, we are hostage to the fact that this is the electoral process… Russia's war against Ukraine has today become an internal political issue in the United States," he complained, rebuking US lawmakers for what he called an "immature approach" to the conflict and global security as a whole.

This weasel really is starting to grind my gears... It's not his constant begging and the temper tantrums that are childish, it's us. Since when does Ukraine have any say in "global security" anyway? No one knew what Ukraine was two years ago. There is no limit to his delusions, seriously. He sold the future of his entire nation and all its people for weapons and ammunition. The whole place is little more than a polygon. Maybe he should've considered all this before dropping the peace negotiations in Istanbul.

NATO Chief Jens Stoltenberg warns an "alliance of authoritarian powers" including Russia, Iran and China are working against the West

He described growing links between those three countries as well as North Korea in efforts to undermine Western democracies, in a world which has become "much more dangerous".

You might even call it... The Axis of Evil!

Well, they probably ARE working against us, Jens, but it's not like YOU gave them much choice. The usual game is being played here. We provoke until we get a reaction then accuse them of bad faith. It also helps if we continuously encroach upon their territory and place our armies right across their borders. And the absolute best thing to do is to organize coups in neighbouring countries and install aggressive puppet regimes aimed against them, arming extremists in the process.

I just hope to God these "people" aren't dumb enough to deploy troops in Ukraine. Macron seems to be just idiotic and deluded enough.

IDF withdraws most ground troops from Southern Gaza

On Sunday, the Israeli military said it has reduced its ground troops in the southern Gaza Strip following the conclusion of its monthslong operation in the city of Khan Younis.

In the statement, the IDF said it was pulling its 98th commando division "to recuperate and prepare for future operations."

This is likely in preparation for a campaign in other regions/countries. I might be wrong, of course. The Western pressure might also have something to do with it, but I doubt it.

Protests calling for Gaza exchange deal, early elections sweep Israel

Protesters say Prime Minister Netanyahu is not seeking to free the captives held in Gaza and instead wishes to continue the war.

Protests took place in multiple Israeli cities, including Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Be'er Sheva, Haifa, and Caesarea, and were joined by members of the captives' families. The largest protest was in Tel Aviv, where protesters lit fires and clashed with the police, leading to one arrest. One female officer was punched in the face.

Speaking of Israel, Netanyahu continues to lose domestic support for his actions as well. Seems like a dead-end, doesn't it. All he can hope for now is an escalation. Let's see if Iran gives it to him.

FSB reveals Crocus City attackers' plan to escape to Ukraine

The suspects behind the Moscow concert hall massacre said they were promised money in Kiev.

In the interrogation videos aired on Russian TV, the suspects said that they were following instructions from the handler they knew as Sayfullo. The authorities are currently working to determine his identity. Russia's Investigative Committee said earlier this week that pro-Ukrainian images were discovered on the phone of one of the suspects.

And here it is. It was only a matter of time before we got a confirmation of what we all suspected. It's also only a matter of time before they figure out who the "Sayfullo" fella is. The first give-away was how quickly our State Department started defending Ukraine. No one in Russia even knew what happened yet, but our politicians already did. This is despicable.

Dozens of articles defending Ukraine and saying it's not true incoming. Almost as if coordinated.

Liberal Late Night hosts now taking it upon themselves to advise world leaders on foreign policy

One new development is that some of these hosts are now using their shows to advise Biden and other world leaders on foreign policy, specifically when it comes to the conflict between Israel and Hamas. Naturally, the hosts are taking the position of the far left.

When did these hosts start to believe that they were this important?

I definitely don't consider myself "far left" and I am nowhere near supporting Israel. It is important to recognise when people you don't like agree with you or take the "right" side. Otherwise we are just robots, no different from the Twitter flag BIOs.

As to when they started to believe they are this important. It was right around the time we gave them the appearance of importance through our viewership and the constant talking about them.

Antony Blinken plays politics with Ukraine's NATO membership

Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, reiterated that Ukraine will one day join NATO. It is a meaningless, almost theological gesture - practically pagan hymn-chanting at this point. Blinken knows his promise to be untrue.

European allies know it to be untrue. The majority of Americans either don't care about Ukraine or are actively opposed to further engagement in Europe. The Republicans are a changed party, as evident from thunderous responses from Republican senators.

I am a member of NATO (unfortunately) and I don't want them in it. I didn't want the Swedes or the Finns in it either. But who asked the people, right? No one asked us, or the Swedes, or the Finns, or the Balts, or anyone else. I want NATO to either return to the borders that kind of-sort of made sense or just piss off already, as all it does is drag everyone into endless wars.

Fire at Bernie Sanders' Vermont office investigated as arson

There were no reported injuries, and Sanders was not in the Burlington building at the time. Police said they are searching for a suspect.

An unknown male subject entered the vestibule of Sanders' office and then sprayed an apparent accelerant on the entrance door. He then lit the accelerant and fled.

Why would you burn Sanders' office? Bernie? Really? Is he really that great of a threat to whatever your worldview is that you burned his office? I never understood the "right's" hate towards him at all. I don't agree with his proposed policies, but damn at least he has principles and isn't just a dog chasing the latest piece of sausage like so many others. I always bring up his 2002 speech to an almost empty House opposing the Iraq invasion. Why not Nuland's office? Or Blinken's? Or Yellen's? Do they really not pose a much bigger threat to our country than Bernie Sanders? I don't get it.

Inside Donald Trump's secret, long-shot plan to end the war in Ukraine

Foreign policy experts and some Republicans warned that pressuring Ukraine to cede land would reward Putin.

Trump's proposal consists of pushing Ukraine to cede Crimea and the Donbas border region to Russia, according to people who discussed it with Trump or his advisers and spoke on the condition of anonymity because those conversations were confidential.

If this really is his "plan," then it's silly. Why on Earth would Russia agree to this after everything it went through? Especially the way things are going now, I see no reason why the would. It's another case of our politicians coming up with a solution between themselves and considering it good enough. They already have Crimea and most of Donbass, what's in it for them? Will they again put trust in agreements with NATO? After Minks, Minsk 2 and the Istanbul negotiations? I'm going to press doubt here. They would probably agree 2 years ago. Now? Nah...

CIA wants Congress to expand top-secret eavesdropping program to "fight against fentanyl crisis"

The CIA, along with other members of the US intelligence community, are pushing for Congress to expand Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 in order to fight the ongoing fentanyl crisis.

According to the Brennan Center of Justice, Section 702, "Authorizes the government to collect the communications of non-Americans located abroad without a warrant from a court. While this surveillance is supposed to target foreigners, it inevitably sweeps in Americans' private phone calls, emails, and text messages too."

I find it uncomfortable that the article seems to only be worried about Americans' data and it seems to be fine about us spying on people abroad. The CIA, the most trustworthy bunch of people you'll ever meet, wants more of your personal data. This time it's to fight a drug epidemic. Trust us, guys, we only have good intentions.

A million simulations, one verdict for US economy: debt danger ahead

Bloomberg Economics ran a million forecast simulations on the US debt outlook. 88% of them show borrowing on an unsustainable path.

...It would take a lot to shake investor confidence in US Treasury debt as the ultimate safe asset. If it did evaporate, though, the erosion of the dollar's standing would be a watershed moment, with the US losing not just access to cheap financing but also global power and prestige.

Do you mean something like weaponizing the currency and payment systems? Would that "shake investor confidence"? Why do you even need a "million simulations" to figure out that endless borrowing and money printing isn't sustainable?

Thanks to Jeffrey Lebowski for bringing this article to my attention!

Pentagon to use commercial space assets in military operations

The Pentagon has officially unveiled its highly anticipated commercial space strategy, which outlines the role of companies such as SpaceX in national security. However, there's a caveat: the effectiveness of the industry will hinge on the Department of Defense's ability to adapt.

This is unbelievable! I posted this as an answer to us saying Russia will launch nuclear weapons into space, remember that piece of fearmongering? Well, trust out it's us who want to put weapons into space. When our government said it, the Russians said it's actually us who want to do it and I didn't believe it, so I didn't post it. Turns out, Maria Zakharova was right.

Was that just a smokescreen then? What was the point of it? How will the mass media stretch this in another example of incredible mental gymnastics? Do we do it to protect space Ukraine? Fight for freedom and democracy on Mars? Seriously...

Son of Hamas founder who defected to the US slams pro-Palestine student activists as the terror group's "useful idiots"

Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of Hamas co-founder Sheikh Hassan Yousef, appeared on "Dr. Phil Primetime" on April 2 to debate two student advocates from the University of Michigan.

It's very disappointing to see Americans supporting Hamas and thinking that Hamas is a cool thing. While those followers don't know that Hamas would torture them and massacre them with no mercy. They call them useful idiots. They don't know that Hamas is a dark black hole.

There is nothing worse in this world, than a condescending asshole who thinks he knows everything. This argument also seems like a straw man. I never met anyone who "supports Hamas," people support the end to Israel's massacre of people who have nothing to do with Hamas. And even if people do, maybe they have a reason for it and believe in something. Extremism breeds more extremism.

China is ramping up support for Putin's war in Ukraine by supplying tank components, rocket fuel and other equipment

US officials anonymously told Bloomberg that Beijing has sent rifle scopes, tank components, rocket fuel and satellite images to Russia.

The publication added that it had been told US secretary of state Anthony Blinken had briefed European allies this week on China's ramped-up support.

It's always an "anonymous source," which more or less equates to "trust me bro." But if China IS supplying Russia with things, then so what? How is it okay for us to supply Ukraine, but it's not okay for China to supply Russia? Where is the line these people drew? Who decided that we are allowed to do whatever we want, yet everyone else must obey and never do their own thing? The psychopaths in our governments? If China supplies Russia, then so be it. If North Korea supplies Russia, so be it. It's a lesson in not starting proxy wars half-way across the world.

US will not accept Chinese imports decimating new industries

Yellen told a press conference that US President Joe Biden would not allow a repeat of the "China shock" of the early 2000s, when a flood of Chinese imports destroyed about 2 million American manufacturing jobs.

Just as I predicted, Janet Yeeeeellen didn't go to China to try to find common language and improve relations, she went there to try to threaten China and show them how cool and mighty we are, because that worked so well until now.

She did not, however, threaten new tariffs or other trade actions should Beijing continue its massive state support for electric vehicles...

How very nice of her, she didn't threaten THAT specifically. Wouldn't it be great if we had officials who understand what diplomacy is. This is what children think it is - threats, coercion and posturing.

Kinzinger: Johnson will be blamed in history books if Ukraine loses war with Russia

Former Rep. Adam Kinzinger said Sunday that Speaker Mike Johnson will be blamed if the US fails to provide aid to Ukraine and it loses its war against Russia.

Now, he has to think about his conscience, because I got to tell you, if Ukraine loses this fight, he will be the guy in the history books that are written about why Ukraine lost this fight...

I don't know, Adam, sounds like a stretch. As far as I'm concerned, Ukraine is going to lose the war because it picked a fight it couldn't win because people like YOU convinced them they are this mighty nation of Hyperboreans, when in fact it's a corrupt country of obnoxious, deluded beggars with no future.

History will more likely blame it on our catastrophic foreign policy failure. Also, it sounds like they are starting to look for a scapegoat to blame it all on. What's going on? Have Ukrainians reached Moscow yet?

Washington offers Tehran negotiations to avoid striking Israel

Iran has promised to retaliate for Israel's bombing of the Iranian embassy in Damascus, which killed a top IRGC general.

According to the source, Washington will guarantee to persuade Tel Aviv to stop its military operations in Syria and Lebanon on the condition that Iran commits not to retaliate against Israel for the Damascus attack.

At the same time, a diplomatic source in Beirut told Al-Jarida that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected an American proposal to pledge to stop attacks in Syria.

This is empty diplomacy. Netanyahu was clear several times that he'll do whatever the hell he wants. What control do we have over the situation? What negotiations can Iran talk to us about after the pointless bombing of Yemen and the weapons supply to Israel that is STILL ongoing? Why would they trust us? How about we leave the region as a start, so we can then say "look, we are out," now let's talk. No? Okay!
