Russian author and politician Zakhar Prilepin was targeted in an assassination attempt Saturday, with a car bomb killing his driver and injuring Prilepin. A suspect detained in connection with the crime admitted that he acted on the instructions of the Ukrainian special services. 

Today, a real hunt has been declared for unbiased journalists, writers, and public figures. In August 2022, saboteurs of the Kiev regime used the same method – a car explosion – against Russian journalist Darya Dugina; in March 2023 they made an attempt on the life of the Tsargrad TV channel founder Konstantin Malofeyev. An improvised explosive device was also used to murder Maxim Fomin, a military correspondent.

The responsibility for this and other terrorist acts lies on the Ukrainian authorities together with their Western patrons, mainly the United States, through whose efforts the anti-Russia project blended with neo-Nazism has been nurtured in Ukraine since the coup in 2014.

What is The South? The Old Confederacy, the SE to foreigners unfamiliar with the subject. As much as northerners would like to believe it is just a bunch of backwards states with hicks and rednecks, with people who were "taught" a lesson and then assimilated into the Yankee fold and moved on, The South is much more and more complicated.

The South is the that one region that gave America most of her culture. No one remembers NYC except for the smell of urine and decay and the vulgarity of the people who would rather flip you off than smile hello.

California was once a shining hope but has become a wretched hive of ignorance, intolerance in the name of tolerance and corruption. What else is there of American culture outside of the South? Cowboys? True, but even that was originally and remains a part of Texas and that itself is part of The South.

The South gave America its own culinary culture and flair. The South gave America and the world Jazz, Blues and Rock-'n'-roll. All those things that Hollywood loves to rave about came from the South. Hollywood loves the products, just despises the manufacturers.

When Northern or Western states fail economically, from the stupid decisions of their denizens, these same denizens deem it their right not only to move to the South, a follow on invasion if you will, but to also dictate to Southerners how they should live and think. These then same modern carpet baggers or rather economic locusts begin to support the very same political policies that ruined their own states, destroying the homes of others.

What is the South? It is a land that gave America its very essence as it fought and died to defend the American Revolution that was from the corrupt Godless men that became its masters in Washington. It is the land without which the rest cannot survive but whom the rest, particularly the NE and West coast moral and financial elites despise. They do so until they need men to die for yet another endless foreign adventure and money laundering opportunity.

It is the Heart of America, a Heart that the rest of the country needs but hates and does much to destroy. That is what The South is now. The question is, with the failing of the American Empire of lies, greed and war, what will The South become?

Those pages are yet to be written and that fate is yet to be set in stone.

Southern Culture is rich and subtle, something that is lacking in the more crass and clerk like culture of the North. Northerners often have trouble understanding those subtleties which can lead to a lot of fun at their own expense. Stay in the North, where you feel at home.

Richmond, 1907 - Unveiling the Jeb Stuart & Jefferson Davis Monuments on Monument Avenue

'And 'twill live in song and story, Though its folds are in the dust.'

One of the most pleasing as well as spectacular features of the great re-union of C.S.A. Veterans, which was held in Richmond in May-June 1907 for the purpose of participating in the exercises incident to the unveiling of the Jeb Stuart & Jefferson Davis Monuments, was the arrangement and costuming of 600 school children in the form and colors of a Confederate battle flag. The children occupied a stand within the Lee Monument enclosure, aroused the greatest enthusiasm by their singing of 'Dixie' and other Southern airs.

Jefferson Shields, former body servant and Confederate veteran who fought in the Stonewall Brigade during the Civil War, c. 1910s.  He attended many Confederate reunions and was buried with a military grave marker that reads "Jefferson Shields, Pvt. Co. H 27th Va. Inf., Stonewall Brigade, Confederate States Army".

A little humor for Sat. My hats off to the reenactors who keep the spirit of the South alive. These men dont just dedicate a lot of time but a lot of money, "it aint cheap" as they say. It is one of the most expensive hobbies that can be had but walking in the tracks of your ancestors is quite rewarding.

But seriously....responsible gun ownership is the best way to lower crime...most criminals want to live. They may not want YOU to live but they sure as heck want to preserve their skins...and the South has guns a plenty and veterans a plenty. Which raises another question altogether: should Southern boys fight and die in foreign adventures thought up by and executed by Northern politicos and their foreign owners...er donors?

The overwhelming drive of the Yanks and Liberals to destroy the Battle Flag or Southern Cross is edging on obsession. Why are they so determined to destroy the flag? Because they consider it a flag of hate?

Under the US flag hundreds of thousands of Indians were butchered for 150 years. Under that flag, various legitimate uprisings like the Whiskey Revolt were crushed. Under that flag Washington to this day illegally occupies a fourth of Syria and steals its oil. But because some few fools and psychopaths used the symbol of the Southern Cross, it is a symbol of evil?

Or maybe, as their control of empire slips, they are desperate to destroy any and all traces of Southern culture before it remembers its strength and independence?

Irish Confederates

The largest immigrant group of the South in 1861 was the Irish and Scotch-Irish. This was in part driven by the starvation caused by Potato Famine of 1845-49 which itself was caused by the British forced monoculture of potatoes.

The Irish had found integration in the South much easier than in the North and as such held no issues against defending what they equally considered their motherland. Thousands answered the call to arms. These were not only foot soldiers but officers too, as a matter of fact, 6 Confederate generals were Irish.

The Fighting Irish also had the full backing of the broader Irish diaspora in the South. The Irish who had been victims of the cruel overlords in London saw the same fate starring them from Washington. The Irish Catholic Church was very active in supporting the Richmond government in total victory over the yanks.

The first of the Lees in America was Richard Lee I "The Immigrant", a destitute Gentleman from England. Richard I arrived in America with the aims of rebuilding his family wealth in the New World and establishing his family as successful and influential once again.

Once in the colony of Virginia, he began investing what little savings he had in the tobacco trade, quickly making a fortune such that he established himself as among the most successful of the early Planters.

His son, Richard Lee II would become a member of the House of Burgesses and the King's Council. Richard II left for his son, Richard III, his father's plantation, which he rented to his brothers.

The cost of rent? One peppercorn, black or white, to be owed on Christmas Day.
