Is NATO trying to open another front against Russia? The EU and Moldova will deepen their security partnership "to an unprecedented level" next week, according to the Financial Times.
FT reports that Moldova will hold military exercises with EU countries, share intelligence and be included in the bloc’s joint weapons procurement under the Orwellian "European Peace Facility".
Though Moldova’s neutrality is enshrined in its constitution, which rules out membership of NATO, its president, US puppet Maia Sandu, has repeatedly violated not only the constitution but the will of Moldovans as well. Her regime has persecuted opposition leaders and is dragging the country down the same path of confrontation with Russia that was followed by Ukraine. NATO, masquerading as the EU, needs Moldova as a base for the fighter jets it promised Ukraine. Sending F-16s to Ukraine would expose them to rapid destruction, using air bases in Poland or Romania threatens to start a war between Russia and NATO, since they would become a legitimate target for Russian missiles. Hence the choice of militarizing Moldova to turn it into a launch pad for attacks against Russian forces. @LauraRuHK
