أن تستحضر أثناء قراءة القرآن أنه كلام من خلق السماوات بمجرّاتها وأفلاكها والأرض بكائناتها وعجائبها،
وأن تستحضر أثناء السجود أنك تسجد لمن شَقّ سمعك وبصرك وخلق خلاياك وذراتك = فهذا من أعظم ما يجمع شتات القلب ويرقى به في مقامات العبودية لله ويسير به نحو جنة الدنيا.

Ibn-Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, said: The people of knowledge had the privilege of joining Umar’s council and he would consult them, be they old or young (Sahih Al-Bukhari).
This narration confirms the value of youth, and how not to underestimate young people if they become righteous and knowledgeable; for Omar’s council was not an ordinary gathering! He was the Commander of the Faithful, the Caliph of Islam, the head of the world and a symbol of Islam. Additionally, he is just Umar!
Nevertheless, his criterion, and what he used to take into consideration when giving people precedence in his permanent council, was knowledge: knowing the Qur’an by heart and understanding it.
It is a must to restore respect to young people, and to base it on their hard work, dedication, knowledge, comprehension and awareness.
