🚨 MANTRA (OM) Crashes 90%: The Next LUNA?

📉 The crypto market is reeling after MANTRA’s $OM token plummeted 90% in hours on April 13, 2025, dropping from a $7.4B market cap to $782M.

Here’s what happened:
▪️ Massive Liquidations: $71M wiped out, mostly on Bybit, triggered by a cross-exchange dump, as confirmed by Binance.
▪️ Tokenomics Shake-Up:
• Supply doubled from 888M to 1.77B tokens
• Emission cap removed
• 3% annual inflation introduced.

📣 Red Flags: Binance cut $OM leverage since October 2024 and flagged its spot page in January 2025.

Accusations of team dumps and scam tactics flood X, with parallels to LUNA’s 2022 collapse—manipulated tokenomics, hype, and panic sales.

👀 MANTRA denies selling, blaming CEX liquidations in low liquidity. Co-founder John Patrick Mullin shared a wallet address to prove no team dumps, promising token buybacks.

👉 Inflated expectations, tokenomic changes, and lost trust mirror Terra’s fall.
