(وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ اللَّـهُ بِضُرٍّ فَلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُ إِلَّا هُوَ وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ بِخَيْرٍ فَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ)

(قُل لَن يُصيبَنا إِلّا ما كَتَبَ اللَّـهُ لَنا هُوَ مَولانا وَعَلَى اللَّـهِ فَليَتَوَكَّلِ المُؤمِنونَ).

Graduation day 🎓

"غالبًا ما أشعر بأن شيئًا ما يفوتني في مكانٍ آخر. بالأمس، كان كل شيء بخير، كنتُ أعرف بأن هنالك أشياءً رائعة تحدث بعيدًا عنّي لكني لم أرغب بالتواجد هناك، جلستُ على العشب واستمعت إلى فرقة موسيقية تعزف أغانٍ لا أعرفها وبدا الوقت لانهائيًا"

سأكون صاخبةً أحيانًا، وسأكون مملةً وسأردد دومًا أنّي لستُ قادرةً عن التحمل لكنّي سأتحمل، وسأكون سعيدةً مرات عديدة، وسأبكي وسأتذمّر، وسأخبرك أنّي هنا حد التعب، سأصرخ بوجهك ثمّ سأنسى ما صرختُ لأجله، وسنختلف ونتجادل ثم نعود للبيت ونحن نضحك.

Only Yesterday (1991)

"The two of them stand motionless across from each other on the street corner as they each wait for the other to start talking. The scenery is practically blank, all white, except for the faded orange sunset. He asks her : “Rainy, Cloudy or Sunny day, Which do you like?” and they realize they both like cloudy days best. And then she runs off, dashing up a staircase that leads up to the sky. She’s shown swimming through a background of hazy pastels, and she looks so happy.”
