È Aprile del 2053 e stai nel Metaverso quasi in punto di morte. Hanno messo l'intera umanità li dentro dato che non era più possibile stare fuori casa senza rischiare la morte a causa del riscaldamento globale, in tutto ciò il tuo corpo vero è dentro un ospedale di Meta. Ti spunta un pop up fluttuante davanti che ti chiede a quale universo virtuale vuoi trasferire la tua coscienza, ma sai già che non cambierà nulla. Le grandi aziende di un tempo: Amazon, Google, Apple e Microsoft sono tutte sotto il controllo di Meta ormai già da diversi anni. Invece, altre aziende come Valve, che ancora non è stata acquistata da Meta, non ce l'hanno fatta a creare un loro universo virtuale a causa dei brevetti software. Tuttavia speri che gli utenti del Fediverso si siano riuniti per lanciare in segreto un loro universo virtuale, ma ciò ovviamente non è possibile dato che esistono leggi che obbligano l'uso di API Meta in qualunque applicazione, anche se usata solo per scopi privati, ciò verrebbe scoperto facilmente da Meta perché tutto deve essere obbligatoriamente salvato nella loro blockchain. Decidi di scegliere Google Space come universo virtuale e muori dopo qualche minuto dalla scelta. La tua coscienza viene trasferita li dentro e tenti mille modi diversi di uscire ma non ci riesci, non potrai mai ritornare nel Fediverso che sta diventando sempre più un ricordo lontano. Vai a comprare la tua casa, che ovviamente è un NFT, e devi comunque lavorare, non si sa a cosa serve dato che tutto è virtuale, ma si è costretti a farlo dato che per comprare gli NFT (che oramai è un qualunque oggetto, anche il più stupido) ti servono gli ETH. Ogni speranza di poter avere un universo virtuale libero, senza crypto e NFT è finita e non sai più cosa fare dato che non puoi nemmeno ucciderti. Ciò non è permesso neanche forzatamente in Google Space dato che ovviamente non hai avuto tempo di leggere le 42852 pagine di termini di servizio e hai dovuto premere "Accetta".

Petition to Return the Revoked Addresses of Telegram Channels
On August 19, Telegram revoked the public addresses of millions of channels around the world without warning their owners.
Those channels were often used as personal portfolios, public archives, and directories, which didn't need to post content often.
The process made many people upset and brought uncertainty to Telegram itself. Such actions without prior agreements with channel owners make Telegram less trustworthy to be used for any project.
The Telegram Info editorial board, @tginfo, and its international volunteers crew demand Telegram to:
• Return the confiscated public addresses back to their owners.
• Notify the owners of inactive channels about such actions.
• Allow users to claim public names that might be at risk.
