This book serves as an excellent foundation for instilling the correct creed in children and teaching them how to worship Allah and follow His commands.

It is concise, using simple questions and answers supported by evidence from the Qur'ān and the Sunnah.

The book includes 50 questions on Tawheed and 'Aqeedah, 42 questions on Fiqh, and lists 109 names of Allah with their evidences in the final section.

We pray that Allah benefits our children and all Muslims through this book.

BENEFIT 173: Tariq As-Suwaydan

Question: We found this book with some of the students of knowledge: "Organise Your Life" by Dr. Tariq As-Suwaidan.

Sheikh Abdulhamid Az-Zu'kari, may Allah protect him, responds:

"I fear that your face will turn aswad (black) O student. I fear that your heart will darken O student, if this is your condition; reading the works of a heretic, someone who has left the fold of Islam. Fear Allah and repent to Him, Almighty. Haven't you found any way to organise your time other than through Tariq As-Suwaidan?! The one who teaches heresy, defames the Companions, and calls you to absolute freedom. Some people lack conviction in the Salafi methodology, and they are quickly swayed by the slightest temptation. Those who lack conviction in the Salafi methodology exit along with those who exit; this one is deceived by Az-Zindani, another by Muhammad Al-Mahdi, another by Salman and Safar, and another by Al-Usaymi. Each is deceived by someone of his kind. This one is deceived by Jarboo', and he leads them astray with his Jarba'ah. By Allah, there remains Jarboo' followers among us, infiltrated and needing their heads to be corrected. You cannot tell me the issue [of Al-Udhr bil jahl] is a knowledge based issue [concerning which the scholars differed] while you declare innovation upon Ahlus-Sunnah wal Jamaa'ah, accusing them of being Murji'ah or falling into the irjaa' of the Karrāmiyah. I swear by Allah that these type of people need the stern treatment we've given to Jarboo' until they repent or dissolve away. [Adhere to] Salafiyyah! This fragility is of no benefit. If you build your house on fragile ground, the moment flood strikes it will destroy it. It is of no use. There must be steadfastness on the Salafi path.

Advise the owner of this book, if you know him. If he wants to follow Tariq As-Suwaidan, let him leave us and go to Tariq As-Suwaidan. Burn the book, O Abu... There is no author except Tariq As-Suwaidan?! I seek refuge with Allah from some actions. By Allah, if I found a Quranic interpretation by him, I wouldn't take from it; by Allah! Tariq As-Suwaidan and his likes. What do they offer? When Al-Qaradawi authored 'The Lawful and the Prohibited in Islam', Sheikh Al-Albani, may Allah have mercy on him, said, 'I looked into it, and it was all lawful and lawful, with no prohibitions.' He permitted the sale of alcohol, pork, and usury. What do you expect from these people?

Be convinced, brother! Be convinced by the Salafi methodology! Be convinced! By Allah, the hoarseness of Ibn Baz's voice is more beloved to us than the Muslim Brotherhood and all their scholars, worshippers, and all their matters. His voice alone, not to mention Ibn Baz himself, who is the Imam of the Muslims. The audio recordings of Sheikh Muqbil, 'نعم, نعم,' are more delightful to us than the eloquence of Ali Al-Qarni and 'Aa'idh Al-Qarni. But some do not know the Salafi methodology and have not tasted Salafiyyah.

Sometimes, some people from Al-Iman University used come to Dammaj to study Arabic, and they are told before coming to take from Sheikh Muqbil and the people of Dammaj Arabic and avoid talking about groups and individuals. They come, learn Arabic, and leave as Hizbees. It is of no use. By Allah, you will not benefit unless you are a clear-cut Salafi. Love (Al-Miqah) stems from Allah. Al-Bukhari has a chapter "Chapter: Al-Miqah (love) stems from Allah" - and this love is not attained except through Salafiyyah and obeying Allah Almighty. [Allah ﷻ states in a hadith qudsi] "O Jibreel, I love so-and-so, so love him, and Jibreel loves him. Then Jibreel calls out to the angels, 'Allah loves so-and-so, so love him.' Then acceptance is placed for him on earth." But this mixed bag Salafiyyah, this is not Salafiyyah, this is khalafiyyah.
So we advise, and if advice is not heeded, we expose by Allah's will. This is the way. Advice first, and if not heeded, then exposure, and he will be expelled, disgraced, and not accepted in any Salafi center. Some say, 'Do not speak about so-and-so,' as if by criticising him, you are praising him. I do not praise him; I denounce him. Jarh is not praise...it is a mark of disgrace on his forehead.
...
The criticism of Ahlus-Sunnah about the people of innovation and deviation is embarrassing for them, and it may be recorded in a book such that the author dies, and the one being criticised also dies, but people continue to read about the deviant's condemnation.

Cleanse your libraries. Whoever has a book of the people of misguidance, if you are from those who are capable of refuting, refute it; otherwise, burn it and destroy it. It is feared that your child might come across it and read it, not knowing right from wrong. Do not get a book except one that leads you to Paradise. How can you get a book that leads you to Hell? A book that leads you to deviation? Not everyone who writes guides to goodness. Al-Qaseemi wrote 'The Shackles of Islam,' and some Christians write in condemnation of Islam. By Allah, we do not read the works of those who were in the Sunnah and then deviated, let alone reading the works of well-known deviants.

Someone wrote something to refute a treatise of the people of Sunnah and he includes his references at the end of his research. If you see look at it, you find reference to Ash-Shuraim, a reference to Abul Hasan, a reference to Al-Adawi, and other references I cannot recall. He mentioned five or six prominent innovators. A wise person, when he sees these references, says, 'Go away, you and your references.' Praise be to Allah, our references are the Quran and Sunnah and what came from the Salaf, may Allah be pleased with them, in creed, monotheism, jurisprudence, knowledge, and practice. These are our references. We are not deceived by the eloquence of Fat-hi Yakan, nor the writings of the so-called thinker Sayyid Qutb, nor Al-Mawdudi, nor 'Aa'idh Al-Qarni, nor Amr Khalid, nor Al-Ghazali, nor An-Nabahani, nor Al-Qaradawi, nor Tariq As-Suwaidan.

Sheikh Muqbil used to say, 'May Allah blacken his face (I.e. Tariq As-Suwaydan).' Perhaps this supplication will be answered. Sheikh Muqbil's supplication against some people was answered by Allah. Perhaps his face will be blackened. Yes. He (Tariq As-Suwaydan) was asked about cursing Abu Hurairah, and he said curse him without provoking the people, or speech to this effect. He is a Rafidhi, a heretic. Sheikh Ibn Baz warned against his tapes wherein he spoke about the Fitnah [between the Companions]. He delved into what transpired between the Companions, defamed the Companions, he calls for absolute freedom, and is pained by the cursing of Jews and Christians and he calls it a farce. Cursing Jews and Christians is considered a farce by Tariq As-Suwaidan, even though their curse is mentioned in the Quran and the authentic Sunnah, and the Salaf continued to curse them. This alone is apostasy; considering cursing Jews and Christians a farce is apostasy, by Allah. It is defamation against Allah, His Messenger, and the Sunnah. Calling for absolute freedom alone is apostasy, let alone much more. Praise be to Allah, Who saved us. We did not read the works of Salman and Safar, nor Al-Mas'ari, nor Muhammad Suroor Zain Al-Abidin, nor Abdulrahman Abdulkhaliq. Rather, we did not feel comfortable reading some books that were perhaps chevked by Aqeel Al-Maqtari and Abdullah Al-Hashidi (former students of Sheikh Muqbil who went astray), and their likes. We go and buy a book without their checking, unless the book is only available through them, we rely on the original text, we rely on the books of the Salaf."

BENEFIT 174: Some points of observation concerning Sheikh Salih Al-'Usaymi

Sheikh Hasan Ba Shu'aib says (Paraphrasing):

٠ They accuse us of criticising the scholars, but this is nothing new. They said the same thing about Imam Shu'bah, Shafi'ē, Ahmad, etc.

٠ As for Al-Usaymi, let me relate to you some of his erroneous statements:

1. علوم المحدِّثين لم تقعّد بعدُ
The sciences of the Muhaddiths have not yet been systematised.

Sheikh Hasan comments: The systemisation began in the second century with the book "Al-Muḥaddith Al-Fāṣil", and continues (like all other sciences) till today.

2. المحدثون اعتنوا بالحفظ وأضروا بالفهم.
The Muhaddiths focused on memorisation to the detriment of understanding.

Sheikh Hasan comments: This remark resembles that of those from the early generations who used to describe Ahlus-Sunnah as حشوية i.e. They don't understand anything, they just memorise, like donkey carrying scrolls.

3. لا تكاد تفرح بقواعد أهل الحديث في كثير من علومهم
One is hardly pleased with the principles of the Muhaddiths in many of their sciences.

4. الدين ليس هو ألفاظ الأحاديث فقط؛ وهذا من آثار الظاهرية المتأخرة.
The Deen is not mere phrases of hadiths; this is a consequence of the later thaahiri school of thought.

Likewise his saying:
ومنشأ هذا هو الغلط في أخذ العلم، فإن الغلط في أخذ العلم أفسد علوم المتأخرين...
This stems from the incorrect approach in acquiring knowledge; for this incorrect approach in acquiring knowledge has corrupted the sciences of the later scholars.

Sheikh Hasan comments: This is an indirect reference to the likes of Sheikh Albani, Sheikh Muqbil, etc. as the context of his speech indicates (i.e. The issue of one Khutba as opposed to two on Eid).

5. ومن أسباب الضعف في أحكام النوازل عند المتأخرين أنهم لا يخرجونها على أصول المذاهب وفروعها.
Among the reasons for the weakness in issuing rulings on contemporary issues among later scholars is that they do not base them on the principles and branches of the established madhabs.

Sheikh Hasan comments: He is calling towards blindfollowing of the madh-habs

6. نحن لا نرد على أحد، لأن المقالات لا تتعلق بالرجال، والرجال يتغيرون...ولكن يوجه الرد للمقالات.
We do not refute individuals, because erroneous ideologies/statements are not about the people who make them, and people change...but rather, the refutation is directed at the ideologies themselves.

Sheikh Hasan comments: This means, don't mention people's names
نصحّح ولا نجرّج
"Correct [the mistake] without disparaging" - Refute the ideology, but don't refute the proponents!

7. لا تسألوا عن الناس سواء تصريحا أو تلميحا.
Do not inquire about individuals, whether explicitly or implicitly.

Sheikh Hasan comments: Don't enquire about the condition of Al-Qardhawi, but only ask about his erroneous statements...

8. المخالفة في الجزئي لا تخرج عن السنة ولو كان مشتهرا.
Opposing a secondary principle [of the religion] does not remove one from the Sunnah, even if it (the principle) is widely known.

If the intent here is that opposition of secondary principles does not remove one from Salafiyyah whatsoever, then this is incorrect. https://t.me/almanhajussalafi/70

Sheikh Hasan comments: If we apply this, then everyone would be considered to be Salafi except those with major deviations like the Jahmiyyah, the Rafidha, and so on from these major deviant sects.

٠ These are some of the erroneous statements of Al-Usaymi. So, do you want us to remain silent without clarifying them and warning others?!

٠ I was informed by someone who was there that most of the attendees are hizbees and members of charity organisations (jam'iyyaat). Why is that? Because they find what they covet within his gatherings; these erroneous principles.

٠ The fact that he is among the members of the council of major scholars is not enough, because even Abdullah Al-Mutlaq, who Sheikh Fawzan described to be an Ihkhwani, is a member of the same council.
