In April, the influence of Neptune in Aries on the zeitgeist will become apparent for the first time. The first weeks of the month are relatively relaxed and bring quick successes. However, the quality of time is still somewhat confusing and forces us to define our goals well. In mid-April, deadlocked situations start to flow again. However, high tension will prevail in the last third of the month, and there could be violent confrontations.

THE CURRENT QUALITY OF TIME

On
March 30, Neptune entered Aries. This ingress will fundamentally shape the quality of time in April. It may take some time for the new signs of the times to become more clearly visible. Over the next few months, you can review your goals and objectives to see if they are still relevant. The spirit of Neptune in Aries shows a return to individuality and self-realization, a willingness to experiment, and the courage to lead the way with a true pioneering spirit. The shadow side of this time can be a lack of direction and motivation.

Saturn,
Venus, Mercury, and the lunar nodes form a stellium at the end of Pisces in the first days of the month. Mars in Cancer makes a trine to this, and Uranus in Taurus forms a sextile. On April 1, a Moon-Uranus conjunction activates this generally relaxed constellation. The trine of Mars and Saturn and the sextile with Uranus will be exact on April 5.
Some things could develop surprisingly quickly now. It is a good time to take a significant step forward in a matter you have already planned or begun. It is less suitable for starting new projects or defining new goals because it could be challenging to read the signs of the times clearly. Wait until the general confusion has died down a bit. On April 7, Mercury will turn direct again. Then, you will be in a better position to grasp what is happening.

Retrograde
Venus in the Pisces stellium also plays a vital role during this time. On April 6, she trines Mars, conjoins Saturn on the 7th, and forms a sextile with Uranus on the 8th. In relationships, honesty and a good deal of tact are central now. Clarifying conversations may take a lot of time and require self-discipline. It is not about quickly changing something but exploring the situation and your own feelings. Dare to trust. It is a good time to seek silence and engage in spiritual pursuits.

On
April 12, the Sun and Chiron conjoin in Aries, and Mercury in Pisces trines Mars. A day later, the Full Moon in Libra opposes the Sun-Chiron conjunction. At the same time, Venus ends her retrograde phase. She is still involved in the stellium of Mercury, Saturn, and the lunar nodes in the last degrees of Pisces. During this time, there is a noticeable impulse towards healing and integration. The quality of time brings new confidence and courage for a fresh start. Focus on the power of love. Deadlocked situations can now start to flow again.
The sign ingresses of Mercury, Mars, and the Sun shape the next few days. Mercury enters Aries on April 16, Mars enters Leo on the 18th, and the Sun enters Taurus on the 19th. In the days following their entry, they all form an aspect with Neptune in the first degree of Aries, which quietly speaks of "now or never". If you already know where you want to go, now is a good time to set out.

The
quality of time changes significantly in the last third of the month. Tension is in the air, and you may expect confrontations. A T-square is forming between the Sun, Mars, and Pluto. It begins with the Sun squaring Mars on April 21, the Sun squaring Pluto on the 23rd, and Mars opposing Pluto on April 27, which coincides with the Taurus New Moon. On the 25th, Venus is exactly conjunct Saturn. On April 30, Venus leaves Pisces and enters Aries.
An explosive mood with a high potential for conflict characterizes these days. With Leo-Mars, Aquarius-Pluto, and Taurus-Sun, the issues are ownership, ideology, and heroism. Latent tensions could escalate quickly now because Pluto, in opposition to Mars, stands for determination but also the danger of violence and ruthlessness.

Be vigilant during these days, and do not rush mindlessly into conflict situations unless you can bravely stand up for your cause.
To better understand the events of this time, we need to look at them in the mirror of what happened during the two Mars-Pluto oppositions at the beginning of November 2024 and January 2025. Now could be the time of the final showdown, when the unresolved question of power is finally settled. This time does not just need testosterone-driven fighters but also those who can present new and constructive visions for a future worth living for all.

THE CURRENT QUALITY OF TIME

The
explosive mood of the last days of April is still very palpable in the first days of May. However, the tension between Mars in Leo and Pluto in Aquarius is gradually easing. Furthermore, Venus and Neptune will conjoin in Aries on May 2, reminding us of the universal love that connects all people. Now is a good time to formulate dreams of a better world. Make sure you don't just leave it at wishful thinking, but take a first step yourself. Pluto turns retrograde on May 4. Until mid-October, we will have many opportunities to correct certain developments of recent months.
On May 7, Mercury and Chiron are conjunct in Aries, sextile to Jupiter in Gemini (Mercury-Jupiter exact on the 5th). It's an excellent time to take care of old injuries and wounds. Seek reconciliation now and talk about new ways of resolving conflicts. Mercury enters Taurus on May 10 and squares Pluto on the 12th. Values considered secure may now be subject to revision, and environmental issues are likely to come more into focus again.

On
May 12, there is a Full Moon in Scorpio, in wide opposition to Uranus in Taurus. This Full Moon's energy has a wild and primitive aspect that is well suited for nature rituals, shamanic experiences, and exuberant celebrations.
On May 18, the Sun is in conjunction with Uranus, and the Moon with Pluto; Mercury is squaring Mars. It is a charged and restless time, with much dispute in the air. Most disputes are about money and natural resources, but often just about being right. Those who are cunning could now do good business, which not everyone likes.

On
May 20, the Sun enters Gemini. Moods will become friendlier, supported by the trine of Venus and Mars on the 22nd, allowing the joy of love to flourish. Things are undoubtedly better when done together now – on the political stage and in our private lives. Being open to new experiences can lead to new, valuable relationships. On May 24, the Sun trines Pluto, and for once, personal concerns seem to be in line with collective necessities. It is a good day to have a long-planned conversation or conclude a critical business deal.

On
May 25, another crucial astrological shift occurs: Saturn leaves Pisces and enters Aries for the first time. Its last stay in this sign was from April 1996 to February 1999. Forward-looking power (Aries) has to deal with limitations (Saturn). It takes personal commitment to achieve goals. You will need patience and perseverance to overcome resistance and a viable vision to have enough strength to see something through to the end. The focus is now on action and results and on those who have the courage to stand up for their goals. Unfortunately, the dark side of Saturn in Aries includes a tendency towards violence. It is a severe test of boundaries, and some may be tempted to pursue purely personal goals by any means at their disposal.
This year, however, Saturn will not yet be able to develop its full power. The reason for this is Neptune, which recently entered Aries. The two will meet in July for a first, not yet exact conjunction. Both then return to Pisces, Saturn at the beginning of September, and Neptune in the second half of October. In February 2026, they will meet again on the first degree of Aries.
Saturn's structuring power will thus remain within reach of Neptune's elusive world for some time, where many things disappear into the deep waters of the world ocean. Only when Saturn has completely detached itself from it (over the next year) will it be possible to form new, sustainable structures. You will learn more about the Saturn-Neptune conjunction in the July 2025 newsletter.

Mercury
characterizes the last days of the month. On May 25, Mercury is in conjunction with Uranus and has surprising news. A crackling tension prevails during this time, which we will feel mainly in the mental sphere. Creative people might experience a very satisfying period of creation during this time. If it becomes too much for you, disconnect from everyday life's hustle and bustle for a while.
