Allerseelen: Sturmlied (Estella). Klangkapsel 041.

"Klangkapsel / Sound Capsule 041 contains a special version of the song Sturmlied (Storm Song) with vocals by Estella (Miel Noir, Stumpff) who already contributed her beautiful voice to a couple of compositions (Antonin Artaud, Ludwig, Requiem) on the Allerseelen CD Chairete Daimones. The lyrics of this song were written by the German author and historian Ricarda Huch. Sturmlied is - like Flamme - a song by Allerseelen that has been recorded through the years in numerous different versions with several female and male guest vocalists. If a CD and DoLP named Sturmlieder by Allerseelen would not already exist, all these versions should appear one day on a concept album with this title. This version is also very special because it is so far the only - and maybe just the first - song by the Austrian group featuring the Finnish string instrument Kantele. It was played in a very beautiful and dreamlike way by Laguz Rune (Vetten Runotar). This song was originally published on the digital compilation Dark Europa." (Gerhard Hallstatt 08.05.2024)

"Ich will kein Kissen mir unters Haupt, Kein Schreiten auf Teppichen weich: Hat mir der Sturm auch die Segel geraubt, Da war ich reich! - I need no pillow under my head, No carpet under my feet: When the storm tore at my sails, My life was most complete!" (Ricarda Huch)

Vocals: Estella
Bass: Marcel P.
Kantele: Laguz Rune
Music: Gerhard Hallstatt
Lyrics: Ricarda Huch
Produced and mastered at Dungeon Studio (Rhenania) by Marcel P.

"In the forest around the Externsteine one still can see initials in the birches which were carved by the little boys with their knives - their initials and the letters: HJ. At that time the carvings were at the height of a twelve-year-old boy. Now the birches are taller, so the carvings are now twenty feet high. They are still there. The whole forest is covered with these initials.” (Kenneth Anger. Interview by Gerhard Hallstatt)

"Many aspects of Anubis reminded me of the performance of Joseph Beuys in New York City. I was convinced that this artist was well acquainted with Egyptian mythology, but it was impossible for me to find out if he had also thought of the parable of Anubis = coyote. Did he also have this significance in mind? The interaction was an allegory, a symbol that I read within it, had deciphered from it, that might or might not be contained within the artwork. This was a characteristic of deep, magical art. The vision of the artist induced further visions in the observer and presented spiritual nourishment for the imagination. The artist appeared as a catalyst, as a tool of his work. Even for him it was impossible to comprehend the full scope, the entire significance of his work. All answers created new questions, like a kaleidoscope where each point of view revealed not only new perceptions, but also new secrets and enigmas. This was a sign of living art - it continued its effect; its process was never concluded. But this living magic was only visible to those who were searching for it. For others it remained hidden. The depth of the art was determined by the observer." (Gerhard Hallstatt: Anubis. Joseph Beuys)

Allerseelen: Venezianisches Lied (Josef) (Salz und Silber). Klangkapsel 042.

https://allerseelen.bandcamp.com/track/venezianisches-lied-josef-salz-und-silber

https://allerseelen.bandcamp.com/merch/allerseelen-stundenglas-hourglass-52-klangkapseln-52-sound-capsules

"Klangkapsel / Sound Capsule 042 is a song named Venezianisches Lied (Venetian Song). A gondola is at night on its way through the narrow waterways of Venice. In the darkness you may smell the salt of the sea and watch numerous reflections of gold and silver on the black water. Three invisible musicians - Josef K., Marcel P., Gerhard Hallstatt - are performing a special song for you and an imaginary audience. The unique voice of Josef K (who was singer in Circle of SigTiu, Forthcoming Fire and Weissglut and still is active in Von Thronstahl) recites a romantic love poem. The lyrics were written by the Austrian writer Alexander Lernet-Holenia who is famous for world war one and world war two novels like Die Standarte and Mars im Widder. This song did not appear on the Allerseelen CD Venezia - only on the limited DoLP edition of Venezia. This remix named Salz und Silber (Salt and Silver) is longer than the vinyl version: The first part is close to the DoLP track - but there is a second part, unpublished so far, consisting just of the charismatic vocals of Josef K. accompanied by a loop symbolizing "salt and silver". Josef and Allerseelen recorded in the past some songs together: Sonne golthi-ade and Sturmlied, both on the CD Edelweiss. Some new recordings with his magical voice are in preparation for the DoLP Abenteuerliches Herz (Adventurous Heart) that is scheduled for 2024 / 2025." (Gerhard Hallstatt 26.05.2024)

https://retortae.bandcamp.com/album/fr-hgeschichte-i-schwartzer-rab-arkaisk-edition (sold out cassette)

"The CD Schwartzer Rab takes in the tapes original six tracks, and most of these run between the five to seven minute mark, with only the first track nearing the thirty minute mark.  Each tracks sound is very repetitious & fairly fixed in it’s feel & attack- with each centring around sparse Kettle drum rhythms & waving (and slightly modified) violin textures. Added to this base we get the sampled raven calls & croaking, very minimal synth electronics, and minimal bass guitar(on one or two tracks). And through-out the tracks mark out sinister ‘n’ brooding melodies, and a grim ritual air." http://www.musiquemachine.com/reviews/reviews_template.php?id=5350

(necroweb)

"Sometimes deep and mysterious, sometimes straightforward and youthly naïve, these records have a real feel of that time, the pre-Internet, pre-Digital era of hometaping culture. In fact, absolutely 100% of todays Industrial music elements were invented or found until mid 90-es, and these low-fi rough soundworks is one of the springs feeding the great ocean of Industrial music structures and components." (indiestate)
"Gewiß, er wird zurückkehren; fragt ihn nicht, was er da unten will, er wird es euch schon sagen.“ (Friedrich Nietzsche, Morgenröte, Vorrede I)
