By Allah! The enemy did not wrong you except after the Lord abandoned you.
So do not think that satan overpowers you. It is just the Maintainer (Allah) Who has forsaken you (because of your incessant sinning).

Politics & Secularism

The separation of Religion from politics began in the West; that is because their Religion was corrupt, and it would (only help) corrupt (sound) political administration. The separation in the East began because of the politician being corrupt, and the Religion ending his political (corruption).
Whoever says, 'Religion has no place in politics', has taken for worship two gods - one (up) in heaven and one (down) on earth. (Which, of course is unacceptable, as Allāh teaches us)
“Say, 'Surely my prayer, my worship, my life, and my death are all for Allāh, Lord of all the worlds.'” [6: 162], (i.e He is Lord of both heaven and earth).
Whoever advocates for the removal of Islām from politics, either does not believe in Allāh as the Creator, or does not believe himself to be a created being, or is (outright) opposing the truth. That is because sound reason points to the fact that the Creator (is the one who) knows best what He created.
It is astonishing that a person believes Allāh to be running the celestial bodies (up in heaven) with a complex system from the point of its formation without any fault, but then refuses His (the Most High’s) system (as represented by Islām) of life and governance!
"The creation of the heavens and earth is greater by far than the creation of mankind, though most people do not know it." [40:57], (i.e if the universe is running under Allāh's governance so smoothly, as we can observe in the surrounding nature, why is it that we don’t follow Allāh's governance in our life and politics?!)
They align their watches and clocks every time it stops (back) to the alignment set by Allāh for the sun and moon in their (respective) courses, without fault since the beginning, but then they boast in arrogance of their (achieving great) accuracy...Woe to man! How ungrateful he is!

The phrase dhikr Allaah (remembrance of Allaah) includes everything by means of which a person may draw close to Allaah, such as belief (‘aqeedah), thoughts, actions of the heart, physical actions, praising Allaah, learning and teaching beneficial knowledge, and so on. All of that is remembrance of Allaah.

Whoever sets his tongue free to slander and speaks about the honour of Muslims and seek their faults, Allāh will hold back his tongue from saying the shahādah at his death.

Dua with the presence of heart
Presence of the heart while making dua is a requirement for it to get accepted. The most repeated dua people make is:
اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
"..guide us to the straight path.." Sūrah Fātihah (1): 5 (as we always recite it in our prayers) and yet most are lost.
That's because dua with the tongue without presence of heart is (mere) mumbling.

Salaat al-Kusoof — The Eclipse Prayer
The way in which Salaat al-Kusoof is done is to pray two Rak’ahs in which Qur’aan is recited aloud, according to the correct one out of the two scholarly opinions.
In the first Rak’ah, one should recite al-Faatihah and a long soorah such as Soorat al-Baqarah or the equivalent, then do a long rukoo’,
then raise one's head and say, “Sami’a Allaahu liman hamidah, Rabbanaa wa laka’l-hamd (Allaah listens to the one who praises Him; our Lord to You be praise)” after standing upright, as in other prayers.
Then one should (in continuation of first rakah), recite al-Faatihah and another long soorah, shorter than in the first recitation, equivalent in length to Soorat Aal ‘Imraan.
Then one should do another long rukoo’ shorter than the first, and when raising one's head, say, “Sami’a Allaahu liman hamidah, Rabbanaa wa laka’l-hamd hamdan katheeran tayyiban mubaarakan fih, mal’ al-samawaati wa mal’ al-ard wa mal’ ma shi’ta min shay’in ba’d (Allaah listens to the one who praises Him; our Lord to You be praise, much good and blessed praise, filling heaven and earth and whatever You will besides that).”
Then he should do two lengthy sujoods, without making the sitting between them too long.
Then one should pray the second rak’ah like the first, with two long rukoo’s and two long sujoods, as he did in the first rak’ah.
Then he should recite the Tashahhud and say the salaam.

Tightness in the chest, mood swings and depression, which weigh a man down and make him quick to complain about the slightest thing, these all are symptoms of weak faith. A person easily gets upset with the people around him, and no longer has any tolerance. The Prophet (ṣall Allahu ʿalayhi wa-’ālihi wa-sallam) described faith when he said, “Eemaan is patience and tolerance”.

Looking Up To The Sky When Supplicating
From amongst the lost Prophetic practices is that of gazing up at the sky in awe while supplicating.
Allāh says,
قَدْ نَرَىٰ تَقَلُّبَ وَجْهِكَ فِي السَّمَاءِ
"Indeed, We see you (O Prophet) turning your face towards heaven..." Sūrah Baqarah (2): 144
Miqdad (May Allāh be pleased with him) is reported to have said,
"I saw the Prophet ﷺ looking up at the sky, I said (to myself) 'right now, he is supplicating'.
