⚠️ Guys, QFL bots will ONLY ACTIVATE A TRADE once a base is broken -3% or below. "NO activation = NO base-breaks" QFL is NOT an everyday occurance. Invest your time on the CBS website to gain knowledge as to how often your coin pair selections break their base.
CryptoBaseScanner website: https://cryptobasescanner.com
I recommend watching these videos first: https://cryptobasescanner.com/manual
LEARN from the MASTER! QuickFingers Luc's (QFL) base-breaking trading strategy, including the power of collecting Free Coins. Here's the entire playlist, sorted by oldest to newest. Set this to Auto-play and learn. (you'll thank me later) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WlTJKyu31MQ&list=PL0aFe-VX89HShZWTTqq6fb5xf1VcfC3kU
Thoughts on QFL trading strategy using 3commas: Manual vs. Automatic #QFLbot
MANUAL QFL TRADING: The SmartTrade tool can be used to activate QFL trades to your liking. Use a base breaking scanner for alerts (CBS, Hodloo). Set up layered Buy trades at your desired -% drops below base and increase trade volume on each. TP and TTP can be adjusted at anytime. Cons: not automatic, requires manual trading, all trade set-ups reserves all funds (even when not needed). Pros: precise control, layered sells, Trailing TP
AUTOMATIC QFL TRADING: The Simple/Composite bot with QFL trigger automatically places the initial Base trade once a coin’s price has dropped -3% or more below the last “base” (using CryptoBaseScanner's "original base" API). Adjust the bot’s "Price deviation", "Safety order volume scale", and "Safety order volume scale" to layer Safety trades to your liking. QFL Luc likes to increase the volume of layered trades as the price goes down, as these are “safer” trades. Cons: Base trade can occur as soon as -3% break, TP% cannot be adjusted as more Safety trades are activated (the TP on -5% vs. -15% base breaks should not be equal), TP is limited to 10%, no adjustments once bot deal starts. Pros: automatic 24/7 trading, 1 Max active safety prevents all funds to be reserved
When setting up a QFL bot, consider settings that increasingly layers your trades by price and volume. Base “nibble” at -3%, increase Safety trade volume as the price drops.
0.1 BTC QFL bot (3SO covers 20% drop)
TP: 10.0%,BO: 0.001,SO: 0.005,SOS: 5.0%,OS: 3.86,SS: 1.13
These settings require you to consider Panic sell until the 2nd Safety is activated.
The "Safety order step scale" will multiply step in percents between safety orders. In my example (photo), SS: 1.13 on the 5% DEV increases the DEV by 1.13x on each Safety. 5.00% spread on 1st SO (-8% from base), then 5.65% spread on 2nd SO (-13.65% from base), then 6.38% spread on the 3rd SO (-20% from base).
SS note: I selected 1.13 to acheive an overall -20% drop with 3 SO using a 5% Dev. All these settings are adjustable to the user's desires.
COIN SELECTION: For QFL, I recommend reviewing coin success rate on the CBS site. Work with coins that have a quick RTB (Return To Base = Respected) and +80% success rate. If using Composite bots, fill each with coins that have similar ave drops. Use settings that covers that ave drop. You'll likely have multiple QFL Composite bots, each with different settings to cover the ave drop for the coins in that bot.
Is it even possible to make money with a Short bot even with the current "at the bottom" market conditions?

That’s all I’ve been running for the last 2+ months!

SHORT BOTS!
I’ve got 18 of them running 24/7 non-stop. Can be done with Max coverage. I’ve got a couple of them paused, as I’m a bit cautious as to what will happen once Coinbase listing is confirmed. I anticipate huge reactions, as XLM did 45% in five days.

Can it be done? Ya, but the bigger the bag, the more confident I am to run larger volumes on each sell order.
This KEY Short bot covers a 35% lift in price with 9 SO's.

You know, that really is common sense NOT to run a Short bot at the bottom of the market. However, if the bot covers a LARGE lift percentage, it can actually make MORE profit (believe it or not).
Here’s my 10xSO ASAP KEY Short bot settings: #321zeroShort

The "4 Max active safety trades count" Advantage on Short bots (more is OK too). Particularly useful on low volume coins that spike a lot.

I discovered the power of Max safety trades during the bot beta testing. Closed all +600 trades because of it. As more funds become available, I’ll increase the Vol Scale (OS). Want to get it at 2.

Manually increasing the Safety Trade # allows that bot deal to add more safety trades. The amount & price of the additional safety is based on the bot's settings.
